Gypsy Road is located on a secluded lot at the end of a private road in Wears Valley. If you want PRIVACY, but to still be within just a few minutes of civilization, this is the place for you! We have several screened decks, as well as covered wrap-around decks, looking out over an acre of woods. We offer contactless check-in, WiFi, and DirecTV in every room. Gypsy Road is perfect for a romantic couples getaway, a friend's retreat, or a family getaway. We look forward to hosting you!

*There is ample parking for several cars. The driveway is gravel and has a slight downward grade.
If you do not want to park on the driveway you may also park on the grassy pad directly outside of the gate.

Great quiet peaceful place
The cabin is located in a quiet spot on the mountain. Each balcony with chairs faces a different direction to you can sit and look at a different view of the mountain. We went during the fall and after a day of hiking it was the quintessential spot to sit outside, have a glass of wine and talk about the day. The brochure provided by the owners was very detailed and provided lots of helpful information about the area and how to access the cabin. Everything was lined out in detail. The cabin is very clean. We had not issue with this cabin. It was the perfect fit for what we needed. A week of no noise, calm and relaxing. I recommend this cabin if you need a good getaway from the modern onslaught. A great place to turn off your phone or other electronic devices and reconnect with nature.

Needs repairs
When we arrived we had not received the code to get inside. We had to drive back to town to request it since there is no signal at the cabin. Once we got the code and got it all was ok. Until I went to the bathroom. Sat on the toilet seat and it was so loose I thought I was going to fall. The first morning was spent realizing the coffee pot didn’t work. So we had to go to town for coffee. Another coffee pot had to be brought out to us. There were many light bulbs out in the cabin, the lamp by the bed cannot be turned off without unplugging it. Cooked breakfast only to find there were no hot pads anywhere to remove items from the oven. I’ve stayed at many cabins in Wears Valley. This one left a bit to be desired.

Very secluded on a gravel road. Quiet days rocking on the porch. We enjoyed shops in Wears Valley, watching chainsaw carvers, the National Quartet Convention and PawPaw's Catfish resturaunt.

The Gypsy Road cabin is very nice. It was clean and spacious and a good place to relax. We came to do The Tail of the Dragon so we had our motorcycles. The location is not motorcycle friendly. It has a large hill that you go up and down on gravel that has ruts from the rain you have to avoid and you could not take them down to the cabin with the gravel and hill. We had one bear that came to see what was going on but moved on its way. It was a very nice get away in a beautiful setting.

Wonderful, Relaxing Stay at Beautiful Cabin
Had a fantastic stay at this cabin for our first ever trip to the Smokies & Dollywood! Location was great - a reasonable drive to Pidgeon Forge with lots of scenic views & cute sites to see on the way. The hot tub (worked perfectly, easy to operate) & arcade were a hit for all! TV & Wifi access worked well, too. Communication with the owners was quick & easy! It was tough to leave, for days afterward, my 4yo kept asking to "go back to the Green Cabin!" Thank you for making our trip a wonderful memorable one!

We both enjoyed our stay totally!!!!! Would recommend to anyone wanting Quiet & Comfort.
Outstanding property, well managed. One and only one thing I had trouble with was size of shower, as I am 6'4" and 270lbs. A little tight for me. Otherwise we had a fantastic stay. We would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the Eastern Tennessee area. Thank you Stacia & Larry and your team for your hospitality.

Lovely mountain cabin
This cabin was perfect for me, my husband and our adult daughter for a little short getaway. My daughter wanted to go to Dollywood, so we found this cabin nearby. The online description was very accurate, check in and out was a breeze, and the owners were quick to answer any questions. I would highly recommend this cabin for a lovely Smoky Mtn getaway.

The cabin is all it advertised! It is quiet and cozy! It was very clean and not far from the action of Pigeon Forge. It had everything we needed and the Direct tv and Wi-Fi worked great! The only drawbacks were the winding, hilly gravel road to get there and the shower is very small and short!

This was our first family vacation, myself, daughter 17, son 7. I cannot tell you how many times my son would say "Mom, this is Luxury!" "We're staying in luxury!" We loved every bit, especially being away from the congestion of the Parkway and just being able to enjoy the peace in the woods! We hope to be back soon!! It was SUPER! Very Easy and Communication with the owner was Great! The house was Wonderful. The only thing I would note is there is no view of the mountains! Tress are cleanly cut back away from the house but the view is strictly Forest Only! We did enjoy our stay but would like to of been able to see a mountain range of some kind.
