Gypsy Road is located on a secluded lot at the end of a private road in Wears Valley. If you want PRIVACY, but to still be within just a few minutes of civilization, this is the place for you! We have several screened decks, as well as covered wrap-around decks, looking out over an acre of woods. We offer contactless check-in, WiFi, and DirecTV in every room. Gypsy Road is perfect for a romantic couples getaway, a friend's retreat, or a family getaway. We look forward to hosting you!

*There is ample parking for several cars. The driveway is gravel and has a slight downward grade.
If you do not want to park on the driveway you may also park on the grassy pad directly outside of the gate.

Peace and quiet
The cabin is a perfect getaway from all the bustle that is Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg (and life lol). I was looking for a secluded place and this cabin provided just that. It was very clean and everything that is listed in the listing. The property manager was quick to reply with any questions I had.

Very peaceful
The cabin was great. Drive way rough. Got lost since it was dark when we drove up. I called the owners and they sent someone to show us where the cabin was. He even carried our luggage in for us. Very nice of them. We did see three bears the first night. One walked right by our car. Very cool to see. Enjoyed our stay. Thanks Loretta

We loved the seclusion of the cabin. Hot tub was great. We did see a black bear. The arcade 60 was an excellent idea for the cabin. We really enjoyed our cabin experience.

Very secluded on a gravel road. Quiet days rocking on the porch. We enjoyed shops in Wears Valley, watching chainsaw carvers, the National Quartet Convention and PawPaw's Catfish resturaunt.

Lovely mountain cabin
This cabin was perfect for me, my husband and our adult daughter for a little short getaway. My daughter wanted to go to Dollywood, so we found this cabin nearby. The online description was very accurate, check in and out was a breeze, and the owners were quick to answer any questions. I would highly recommend this cabin for a lovely Smoky Mtn getaway.

Gypsy Road Cabin
Thanks for providing such a great peaceful cabin to stay in. My wife and I had a great weekend relaxing and getting some much needed time together at the Gypsy Rd cabin. We even enjoyed the visiting bear that cam strolling through while we was enjoying the rocking chairs on the porch. Thanks again.

Wonderful, Relaxing Stay at Beautiful Cabin
Had a fantastic stay at this cabin for our first ever trip to the Smokies & Dollywood! Location was great - a reasonable drive to Pidgeon Forge with lots of scenic views & cute sites to see on the way. The hot tub (worked perfectly, easy to operate) & arcade were a hit for all! TV & Wifi access worked well, too. Communication with the owners was quick & easy! It was tough to leave, for days afterward, my 4yo kept asking to "go back to the Green Cabin!" Thank you for making our trip a wonderful memorable one!

We both enjoyed our stay totally!!!!! Would recommend to anyone wanting Quiet & Comfort.
Outstanding property, well managed. One and only one thing I had trouble with was size of shower, as I am 6'4" and 270lbs. A little tight for me. Otherwise we had a fantastic stay. Fast get away
Thank you so much for the beautiful cabin it was so peaceful and very private! The cabin was very clean and everything was so nice the beds were amazing!! The hot tub was so nice and relaxing we used it every evening! Had such a great time we will definitely be back!! The fire place was really nice and relaxing!! Loved everything about our trip!! Secluded Mountain Getaway! ❤️
This property is absolutely amazing, its 100% of whats described on the website. Photos are actuate as well so no surprises. Everything about the cabin was spot on, secluded 💯, maintained ✅, cleaning 🙌🏻. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone staying in the smokies. We plan on returning very soon, and we will certainly be renting from Over The Mountain ⛰️. Thanks for making our short stay a wonderful experience. 👍🏻

It was SUPER! Very Easy and Communication with the owner was Great! The house was Wonderful. The only thing I would note is there is no view of the mountains! Tress are cleanly cut back away from the house but the view is strictly Forest Only! We did enjoy our stay but would like to of been able to see a mountain range of some kind.

Wooded Cabin
The Gypsy Road cabin is very nice. It was clean and spacious and a good place to relax. We came to do The Tail of the Dragon so we had our motorcycles. The location is not motorcycle friendly. It has a large hill that you go up and down on gravel that has ruts from the rain you have to avoid and you could not take them down to the cabin with the gravel and hill. We had one bear that came to see what was going on but moved on its way. It was a very nice get away in a beautiful setting.

A wonderful getaway
We stayed for 5 nights, and wished we could stay longer. The location was perfect for going to the Smokies. We did lots of hiking, including Ramsey Cascades trail, and our favorite, the Little River trail. Also we biked the Cade’s Cove loop on Wednesday, when it is closed to automobiles. It didn’t hurt that the weather was glorious! When we first arrived at the cabin we were a little worried. It looked kind of dirty and dilapidated on the outside. And the deck chairs needed cleaning. But the inside was very clean and comfortable. We loved how spacious it was. And we loved how there’s a deck off of practically every room. And the beds were so comfortable, we slept great. The sheets were very nice also, so smooth and comfy. The jacuzzi tub was great. I used it a couple of times. I’ve used some before that took forever to fill, and ran out of hot water, but this one was great. We ate all of our meals in, and we found most everything we needed for cooking. I liked the layout of the kitchen and the dining table. The dishwasher and stove worked great, and there were plenty of dishes and flatware and pots and pans. The kitchen was roomy and the dining table was plenty big. We brought most of our groceries with us, but did a little shopping at the IGA market in Townsend, which was very well-stocked. The living room furniture was very comfortable, especially the recliner chair! The TV was bad, it’s internet-based and was always freezing. But we didn’t go there to watch TV. The Wi-Fi was a little slow but adequate. We watched a few videos without problem. The cabin was very private. We couldn’t see anybody else around us, but we could hear people in other cabins, and we could hear some construction going on nearby. When we went out on the deck at night we could see lights from other cabins. But we loved the location and the accommodations, and the feeling of remoteness, and would love to stay there again.
