Secluded Mountain Oasis-Private Pool-Kids Fantasy Kids Theme Rooms

Welcome to Celesta Vista! One of the most unique and luxurious properties in the Smokies! Have a smaller group (20+)? Try our sister property - The Pimalai Lodge. https://www.vrbo.com/831227.

The name "Celesta Vista" literally means when translated “heavenly view”. True to its name, the 7000 sqft Celesta Vista Lodge is located more than 1000 feet above Wears Valley overlooking the valley and mountains below. The back of the property to the Smoky Mountain National Park. This private, custom-built, luxurious cabin will truly be the highlight of any visit to the Smoky Mountain National Park, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. No other cabin will come close to the amenities and view that this cabin offers.

The Celestial Lodge has 7 bedrooms, 7 full baths, and 2 half baths. It will comfortably sleep up to 29 persons and offers breath-taking views directly down into Wear's Valley below and looks back at the foothills, Bluff Mountain, and Hatcher Mountain. The property has been designed to afford your entire family or group a truly unique, and unforgettable getaway with unparalleled amenities, and is ideal for family reunions, weddings, or any large group gathering.

This 4+ million dollar property has undergone extensive renovation, including the addition of an indoor pool house. The limited pictures simply cannot capture every unique element of the property, therefore please use the Virtual Tour to get a walk-through tour of the property.

The driveway to The Celesta Vista is steep! Very good tire tread or two/all-wheel-drive vehicles or 4X4's are recommended! Please do not overload your vehicle if you don't have these vehicles!

For the kids, there are two private fantasy bedrooms; "The Jedi Academy" and "Narnia’s Wardrobe".

The Jedi Academy” offers young Padawans a chance to venture into a spaceship based training academy for future Jedi warriors, while the ship hurtles through the outer rim galaxies. Within the futuristic, industrial interior, is located the spaceship’s cockpit and control panels, from which one can peer into the deep abyss of space. we got two sets of bunk beds in the spaceship. The first set of bunk beds are designed for Padawans( younger kids) and they are shorter than other sets. We have another set designed for young Jedies to rest and be ready for master Yoda`s special training during the sleep!

“Narnia’s Wardrobe” is modelled around the land of Narnia, and appropriately accessed through an ornately decorated wardrobe which opens to reveal a magical, winter wonderland. When you step into the wardrobe, Narnia awaits with a snow-covered forest, stone mountain walls with an electric fireplace (the entrance to Mr. Tumnus’s home), luxury sleigh beds, a ceiling of stars, and of course the frozen lamppost!!

For the adults who are ready to let their hair down and act like kids, Celesta Vista has brought an Irish legacy to the Smoky Mountains – with the “Naughty Leprechaun” Irish Pub. It is here in the “Naughty Leprechaun” where every day of the year you can be whisked away to a taste of Ireland (Don’t forget to wear something green, or else a leprechaun just might pinch you!!!!). The pub area is tastefully decorated and have you saying “Sláinte” (Cheers!). The “Naughty Leprechaun” also includes a large recreation area suitable for all ages equipped with billiards, air hockey, foosball, darts, poker table, 60” flat screen tv, X-Box, Jukebox, and video arcade.

Ready for a movie? Celesta Vista has its own 15 seats, VIP movie theater with surround sound.

The Celesta Vesta has an indoor, heated swimming pool. Within the tropically appointed pool house, there is also the “Same, Same but Different” Tiki Bar, Dry Sauna, and spillover spa.

Relaxation at the Celesta Vista Lodge can equally be found in the outdoor living space offered by the property, and the remarkable views. Featuring 3000 sqft of finished outdoor living space consisting of an expansive sun deck, outdoor kitchen, gazebo covered 8 people hot tub and landscaped yard - all of which offer unparalleled views.

LAYOUT:
MAIN FLOOR - On the main level of Celesta Vista Lodge is a breath-taking great room, which encapsulates the literal meaning of Celesta Vista. The wall of windows overlooks Wear's Valley and the magnificence of the view can`t be captured in the pictures you are able to view on the website. The main living area features a gas log fireplace and an expansive sitting area with a large 60" flat screen television.

The open-concept room features two interconnected full-service kitchens to make cooking meals for a large gathering easy. All large and small appliances (stove, range, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, and much more) are available in each kitchen, as well as a full assortment of brand new cookware, dishes, glassware, and cutlery. If you never want to leave the cabin, you are completely set to do so! An over-sized washer and dryer, and half bath are also available on the floor.

The extended great room features an adjacent, but separate dining area that will accommodate 32 persons. This includes a master dining table which comfortably will seat 20, an elevated bar area with seating for 4, and a separate dining table for 6.

Connected to the great room are a study and business center, offering a space for workaholics or those on a working vacation. The study also has a variety of books and can be used as an area where one can lose yourself in the pages of your favorite novel. The sofa in the study conveniently converts to a queen bed for an additional sleeping area.

Also off of the great room possibly the largest master bedroom in the Smokies. The bedroom features a King bed, flat-screen television, and DVD player, a large gas fireplace, as well as a chest of drawers, and a walk-in closet. The bedroom also has a private sitting area with a sleeper ottoman. Off the large bedroom is the en-suite bath including an oversized whirlpool tub and a unique, walk-in, dual head shower with floor to ceiling glass windows that looks down into the valley.

UPSTAIRS LOFT - The upstairs loft is an open-air bedroom that overlooks the Great Room below. The room features a king-sized bed and a full ensuite bathroom. The loft is equipped with a flat-screen television, DVD player, chest of drawers, and a separate closet. The view from the loft to the valley below is truly one of the most impressive views from inside the home.

LOWER LEVEL - Upon walking down the stairs from the main level, you will believe you have just stepped off the streets of Dublin as you enter the “Naughty Leprechaun” Irish pub and recreation room. The décor is uniquely modeled after a traditional Irish pub, complete with mahogany stained woodwork, plaster walls, and Irish Whiskey barrels.

The pub's bar area includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, blender, and all required glassware to host your own St. Patricks Day Party. There is also a jukebox, loaded with all your favorite tunes as well as a wide selection of traditional Irish melodies to sing to!

The pub's recreation has a gas fireplace with a 60" flat-screen TV, DVD player, and Xbox-360. The room features a full-sized pool table, dartboard, air hockey table, foosball, poker table, and an upright arcade game featuring 60 free play video games from yesteryear (Pac Man, Ms. Pac Man, Donkey Kong, etc). A wide assortment of your favorite movies and games have also been provided for your enjoyment.

Down the short hall from the "Naughty Leprechaun" is the Celesta Vista Theater is also located on this level and accommodates 15 persons. From the 12’ high, star-lit, ceiling, to the elaborate décor, to the movie-quality picture and sound system, the Celesta Vista Theater has been designed to provide you and your guest the ultimate VIP home theater experience.

The same hallway with the theater also has 3 additional bedrooms. The first is a queen bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. Further down are the two children's rooms. The “Jedi Academy”, with two sets of spaceship pod (twin)bunk beds (sleeps 4), and “Narnia’s Wardrobe” with two sets of elaborate sleigh (twin)bunk beds (sleeps 4). The Jedi Academy and Naria’s Wardrobe share a full bathroom located in the hallway.

On the opposite side of "The Naughty Leprechaun" are 2 additional large bedrooms. The first bedroom has two queen-sized beds, and the second had two king-sized beds.
Both bedrooms have their own TV/DVD players and their own ensuite bathroom.

OUTDOOR AREA -The front of Celesta Vista Lodge features a large two-story gazebo who's entrance is connected to the main level deck adjacent to the dining room. The upper level of the gazebo has a fully fitted outdoor kitchen featuring a gas grill, sink and refrigerator. The kitchen has an elevated bar area that will comfortably seat 8 or more. With the valley and mountains stretched below the area, it promises to be the ultimate grilling experience and visiting area in the Smokies!

The back door from the main level takes you to a large sun deck and indoor pool. This tropically appointed pool house is uniquely situated to overlook Wears Valley and offers incredible views from its wall of windows. Inside is climate controlled with a heated indoor swimming pool, floor deck jets, and spillover 6 person spa. There is also a 4person sauna with the MP3 player inside. Also a changing room / full bathroom, and tiki bar, proudly called the “Same, Same, but Different Tiki Bar”. The "Same, Same, but Different Tiki Bar" is a traditional island style, bamboo clad, and thatched Tiki shack where shoes and shirts are definitely not required. The difference is that this Tiki Bar is located on top of a mountain ridge, immediately adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park! The Tiki Bar is ornated with hand-carved Tiki poles and bar stools, surfboards, friendly animals, and other tropical decors.

Run Down - Book something else
I wanted to express our extreme disappointment of the condition of the cabin that you rented to us. We do understand that things happen however the lack of general unkempt was ridiculous. But more so, we rented this cabin for 4 nights and 3 out of the 4 days/nights the air conditioning was broken. It was 86 degrees during the day - I have pictures to prove, and for 2 days we had AC companies coming in and out of our family vacation. The first day, we had to remain at the cabin to let them in and out - we were responsible for waiting on the company to show up (one never did) so we lost an entire day, and it still wasn’t fixed! The list is so very long, I am sure that I have missed multiple items: Upon driving up, the weeds (by walkway 3ft tall) and not mowed grass, broken tile in yard (found out later it was from tile from bar on the balcony). McDonalds trash to right of door Large Trash pile to left of the pool Multiple light bulbs out all over Nails and screws sticking up on deck stairs and bar top, could really hurt their feet, going to pool! Pool was murky and dirty- May need PH check! Hot tub was ICE cold Broken tile on surround on outside bar Broken game machine No top sheets on twin beds The floors on main were filthy, see pics of mops they are using Black with dirt! Disgusting since we had babies crawling around. Appalling! Dishwasher not mounted in main kitchen Mold in some of the showers and old caulking Only some burners working on gas grill

This house with the views and wildlife is absolutely amazing! We saw bears multiple times each day which was exciting for everyone. The upper deck was where we spent every night, enjoying the views, outdoors and company! The kids loved the pool, hot tub, and game room. Not one complained of being bored all week! While none of us in our large family had issues with the drive up, The road it is STEEP!! But the house and views make it all worth it! We will definitely be back and thank the hosts for the warm hospitality! What an incredible place!

Celesta Vista Lodge
Beautiful breathtaking views and great local attractions the Celesta Vista Lodge is great for a family location. This place is in a beautiful location. The drive up to the lodge is a bit of a challenge, but once you do it a few times it becomes easier. All that being said we couldn’t give it a 5 star rating, because there are a few (non-essential areas) that need some TLC. One being the theater room which was out of commission due to a bad bulb disappointing for the kids who were looking for movie night. Bring your bear spray. We seemed to have one bear, we named him Floyd for no reason, who was around several times a day. We found him multiple times in the grill on the upper deck outdoor kitchen or just show up out of nowhere in the driveway. Floyd even caught us off guard several times. We were sitting around the outdoor kitchen with several small children. Floyd came around the driveway crossed in front of the house to go off into the woods, so we thought. He came up the back stairway and came walking down the deck right at us. Floyd came within about ten feet before we could all scurry into the house. We watched Floyd climb over the furniture barrier on the backside deck stairs and climb down the wood posts supporting the outdoor kitchen. Floyd did not seem aggressive in any way you just need to be vigilant especially with children. To finish it still was a wonderful vacation spot and everyone fell in love with Floyd just from inside the house.

Celesta Vista Cabin
We loved the cabin - there were lots of fun areas and specialty rooms for hanging out. We LOVED the open kitchen/den area on the main level. Also enjoyed the wonderful deck on this level. The cabin also has a very nice enclosed back patio by the outside entrance to the pool house where my granddaughter could play. I know the owners do not live in the area so they told us that as guests, we are their best source for any maintenance that may need to be done. The cabin needs a little TLC which is understandable as time passes. A couple of closet doors (in one bedroom and in the pantry in the second kitchen) are hanging and not functional. In the refrigerator in the main, front kitchen, there are no shelves on the door. Also, the main dishwasher needs to be reinforced - it tends to slide forward when it is opened. In the double queen bedroom, when facing the beds, the one on the right has a loose frame and the mattress pops up when you get in the bed. On the back deck, the air conditioner compressor panel was off and had wires that were exposed. Celesta Vista is a unique, fun cabin that our family and friends enjoyed! It was a great place to stay for our wonderful vacation!

Beautiful cabin and amazing view. The driveway is not for the faint of heart
We enjoyed our stay after the linen / AC issues were addressed. Beautiful cabin with a nice pool and spa. Enjoyed the view and the game room where we spent a majority of our time there playing pool and cards. Had some laughs coming up the driveway with Nana screaming and crying as it is pretty steep. Unfortunately we did not see any wildlife. Overall a nice place to stay

Great Place with BEAUTIFUL VIEWS!!
Stayed here with my family for Thanksgiving. There was 25 of us. The hose was clean and plenty to do to keep everyone occupied. We planned on going downtown, but after the drive up we didn’t want to go back down. I read on previous reviews that there’s a pretty steep drive to the house. That is no lie. The road was kind of slick and full of leaves. We all have SUV’s and struggled to get up the driveway. Other than that everything was fine. Beautiful views, spacious house, the hot tub wasn’t very clean and the cover could use some TLC, but it’s still a lovely place. Especially for a large family. We had a really good time. We all sat in the large dining room for our meals, which we really enjoyed. Watched some movies and football games in the theater, which has great sound! The kids LOVED the pool area and all the games! It was a peaceful and very memorable experience. I would return if it wasn’t for the steep hill. We’re not use to all that lol This place is def worth checking out though!

Cabin was beautiful the driveway as they stated is STEEP and a little intimidating 😳😂After the first night a bear had removed the hot tub cover and I guess soaked in the tub which made it quite filthy. Contacted the property manager and he said he would”try” to get them to come clean it. Well they never showed up and we were unable to use the hot tub

What a view!
6 friends and their families rented this place for yearly get together. The pool and hot tub are what we look for to keep the kids occupied while we do our adulting. The pool here left something to be desired. The listing says it’s heated and I’m sure it technically is but it was too cold for the kids to enjoy comfortable. The adults tried it in the evening and again, most of the adults were too cold to enjoy for long. The spill over spa has jets but the property keeps them turned off. They were turned on for us for a day because the hot tub jets were broken. The water in the hot tub looked like beef broth and contained flakes, which I was told was due to the limestone in the area, so due to that and lack of jets we pretty much stayed out of it. Some of the beds left our friends in pain. Too soft. My partner and I slept in the loft. The mattress was like sleeping on a marshmallow but we enjoyed it. Very few windows in the house have coverings but nothing is around so privacy would only be an issue if someone in your group were lurking. We did have a bear make an appearance. It was actually cool to see. The house seemed clean for the most part. Bathrooms were small. Most of the bathrooms contain shower stalls so if you’re a larger person, that could be a problem for you. The opening to the house from the parking is the lower floor so you have to carry everything up to the main floor for the kitchen. Kitchen has everything you could need. Living room only had seating for 9.

10 Year Anniversary and Vow Renewal
Our family and friends flew in from all over the country to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and vow renewal. Scott, the property manager, was very responsive. What an exciting adventure upon first arrival- grateful that the road is now paved because some of our vehicles may have struggled to get up the incline on gravel. The home is BEAUTIFUL! The pool house and sauna and tiki bar a delight. Rest and relaxation. Our party had 29 folks ages 30-60. We enjoyed playing games and catching up. My husband and I renewed our vows in a simple ceremony with the mountains of Tennessee behind us. Some of my family took day trips into town for hiking and gem mining. I enjoyed the house and company. We cooked all our meals and delighted setting the table- we truly felt like royalty up there on the mountaintop. The rooms are spacious and everyone had plenty room to move around, be together, or alone if needed. The view from the deck are spectacular. The hot tub and pools were a huge hit. We enjoyed the out door kitchen and grill for many of our meals. The furniture is so comfortable and plenty of cozy blankets for snuggling up. Theater is awesome. We played an original ATARI! The large tub in the master bedroom doesn't function and the faucet handles just spin -(I read that other guests have already noted this) it is still a beautiful bathroom- the shower is massive! So great to have so many bathrooms- even with a full house, there was never a wait for showers or rest rooms.

Two of the bed frames in the 1st floor are broken. You would not know it just to look at them, but it made both beds very uncomfortable to sleep on. One of them is so badly broken that it turned the foam mattress into a "taco"

Beautiful Views
This property was without a doubt so beautiful. We loved being able to get up and see the gorgeous sunrise and go to bed at night seeing the sunsets as well - all in the same property. Nothing can beat the views of this home. They were truly spectacular. We did feel that the listing description and pictures of this home were a bit deceiving. The pictures did make the house and yard appear much larger than what it was. The bedroom configurations weren't completely clear on the listing and we found the top bunks did not have safety rail and for having young children in our group, became a concern. At all times, the house was extremely hot and never went under 78 degrees. After requesting someone to come look at it, it was determined that the air unit is much too small for the space of the house. Although, there were several concerns, we really enjoyed our stay and loved having our family under one roof. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Spacious lodge, amazing views, and family friendly.
The description about the driveway is very accurate. It is steep, but we traveled up and down it every day with no difficulty. The views are amazing. We also had a young bear that was a regular visitor which added to the fun. The owner was extremely responsive. We had some problems with the pool being cold and they tried their best to fix it. Our grandkids didn't seem to mind the cold temperature. The home is in need of some tender loving care. Things that could easily be taken care of by a caretaker such as clogged bathroom drain, broken jukebox (our son fixed it), hot tub jet covers falling off and the whirlpool tub fixtures need replacing (they just spin around). The outside grill looked like it hadn't been cleaned and there was a full cigarette butt can. The lodge is amply equipped with cooking items, plates, cups etcs. We brought our own griddle for making pancakes. Bring paper towels, toilet paper, dish washer soap, etc. The few minor issues didn't detract from all the positives. We would definitely recommend staying here! Maybe one day we can return again.

Wonderful retreat
We had a relaxing and wonderful stay. There was an issue with the pool and it never did get to a reasonable temperature so the kids couldn’t really use it. Although they promptly tried to fix. Our crew had a healthy fear of the bears and found ourselves wishing prior guests hadn’t fed them as it caused them to come around a lot, including climbing up on the deck and getting in the grill. It was great to see wildlife. The owners certainly discourage feeding the bears. We appreciated the get away.

We LOVED this place. Had so much to do at the cabin. The place was so beautiful and had amazing views. We did have a vistor when we was grilling, but we loved seeing the bear as well. Check in and check out was easy. The hill was a lil steap but didnt bother us at all.
