Beautiful Cabin with Potential, but POOR MANAGEMENT
We recently stayed at this cabin and were initially impressed by its beautiful mountain views and amenities like the indoor pool and hot tub. The cabin is spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped. However, our experience was marred by several issues that the management company failed to address.
On our first night, we lost power due to weather, leaving us without lights, air conditioning, and the ability to cook, no water, or use the bathroom. Despite there being a generator on-site, the management company was unresponsive and unhelpful. We called multiple times, sent pictures as requested, but no one ever came to assist us. We had to endure the night without power, which was extremely uncomfortable.
The hot tub was unusable due to dirty water and lack of chemicals, and the pool area was infested with bugs. The pool itself was cold, with the thermometer reading only 70 degrees. Additionally, the cabin was not clean. We found dust everywhere, caked-on dirt on bathroom cabinets, dirty dishes, hair in the shower, and unwashed bedsheets with visible crusty stains.
We requested to extend our stay by a day to make up for the lost time due to the power outage, but the management company was difficult to deal with. They wanted to charge us full fees again, including a second cleaning fee, even though no one would come to clean in between. While they eventually waived the cleaning fee, they did not waive the booking fee. This place needs a deep clean desperately!
