Picture perfect
This was not our originally scheduled location for our family getaway, but after Hurricane Helene devastated Western North Carolina I had to find something quick. Not gonna lie, I was skeptical that a house of this size and pictured beauty was still available when everything else was booked. However, when I walked through the door I was pleased to see the house was exactly as pictured and described. More than enough sleeping space for our party of 7 adults. And the multiple bathrooms made getting ready a breeze. The neighboring cabins were a little closer than I would have preferred but the design and layout of the resort still gave sense of privacy. Location is great, away from the heavy traffic but yet close enough to take in all the area attractions. The communication with the host from booking to check out was both fast and courteous .

Fall Break Getaway
We had to quickly pivot and make new plans for our family fall break due to Hurricane in Florida. This home was the perfect place!!! Not only was it a gorgeous family vacation house, but the host made you feel as if you were family! It is located perfectly to hike, shop, visit Dollywood or just to run to the parkway for dinner. We will definitely be back to stay longer!!

Smoky Mountains Family Time
We loved our weeklong stay at this cabin. We had 6 adults, a 4 yr old and an almost 2 yr old. We all enjoyed the house with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. An upper & lower deck for relaxing with a hot tub on the upper deck. The pool & mini golf within the community was great, too. Everything seemed so close even though you feel like you’re in the woods in the middle of nowhere. So much to do in the area for all ages. The house itself is clean & well maintained and everything worked as one would expect. The a/c kept us nice and cool. There was the convenience of a 12 cup coffeemaker for the morning & a Keurig for a quick cup later in the day. The owners are very responsive and helpful virtually should you need them. Next time our family travels bring us to the Smokies we would definitely stay here again.

Bring your own TP
The pros: The hosts were very nice and quick to respond. The neighborhood had a nice outdoor pool and mini-golf. The layout of the house was perfect for our large group. Most of the house was very clean and spacious. The cons: We paid $2400+ for 3 nights and were only provided with "starter" basics, such as toilet paper, garbage bags, etc. I have seen this strategy in basic rentals like yurts or primitive cabins, but not in a large and expensive family rental. As a family of 10, we quickly ran out of all the basics. The hosts provided us with places in town where we could purchase more. Does anyone else remember when vacation rental houses were supposed to feel like a home away from home? Where there were nice touches like homemade cookies, a bottle of wine, or even just a nice note? Honestly, we probably could have overlooked the other issues, but this was a bad start to our stay. We may start going back to hotels where at least the basics are provided. There is minimal insulation inside and the floors are extremely creaky. There is no sleeping in here. The house is pretty outdated and the neighborhood is all rentals. The indoor pool was pretty gross. The refrigerator wasn't clean and the air intake panel in the kitchen was black. Not very appetizing. Even with all of that said, it was not a bad place and we all still had a great time. We will not stay here again, but others may not care so much about these things.

A great time in the Smokies!
We really enjoyed our weeklong stay at this cabin. Our family trip included three couples and my mom, and one night our son and DIL visited from NC and stayed on the sofa bed downstairs. We all had our own king size bed and our own bathroom. One bedroom is on the main level, two are downstairs, and one is upstairs, which is the master suite and is the largest with a huge bathroom. There is a half bath off the kitchen, which is where you will find the golf clubs and balls for the free miniature golf course. My family and I greatly enjoyed this cabin. It’s located very close to all the attractions (around a 10-15 minute drive to the strip) and has every amenity that you would need staying in a cabin. As a family of seven (and one night nine), everyone was very comfortable and enjoyed the cabin as if they were at their own home. Jonathan is a very nice and considerate owner who will answer any questions that you may have at any time. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed, though we would recommend taking some extra towels and washcloths since only one or two are provided per guest. However, there is a washer and dryer downstairs if you want to wash them. Also, remember to take your own beach towels if you are planning to use the pool. There are two wraparound decks with rocking chairs and porch swings, a hot tub, and a gas grill. We really enjoyed the pool table and video games downstairs. We loved every day! ❤️
