"Uiterst vriendelijk ontvangst door Francisco en Bubbles, de hond rond het late tijdstip van 21:30 uur. Op voorhand al binnengelootsd met Whatsapp berichten, aangevuld met to-do-tips. "Big room in a quiet old manor/estate. A bit hard to find, google did okay however the entrance was not signed very well. Stairs to room, good breakfast and quiet area. Grounds are dated but the house is clean and spacious. Host was helpful offering maps of the area and ideas for restaurants. "

"Es un alojamiento con todo lo necesario , incluso con zona de comedor y nevera si necesitas dejar algo. En cambio el olor de la recepción era terrible, como a tubería , llegaba casi hasta las habitaciones. En las escaleras encontramos ropa de cama y toallas en el suelo que estuvieron durante dos días así como una bolsa de basura. La limpieza del baño no era muy exquisita tampoco. "

"Great cozy guesthouse, situated right in the center of Aveiro. Fine common space with a kitchen you can use (there is a refrigerator too). Nice room with a comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom. "What a very cool place! If you like interesting lodging and nature, you will love this place. It is a bit off the beaten path however, so you'll require a car. Definitely take them up on the offer to stay for dinner. Dona Natalia's home-cooked meals are absolutely delicious (if my Cajun grandmother was Portuguese, she would be Natalia), and a great deal at 15 euros per person, with wine. "

"Fernado & Amelia were very welcoming and had generously left a welcome gift pack. We were given lots of information about services & things to do in the area. The outdoor living space with bbq & outdoor sink and plenty of charcoal together with the pool greatly enhanced our stay in early July. The only downside was there was no airconditioning (our error not noticing when booking) as in the 1st week temperatures were up to 40 degrees but fans were provided. A lovely peaceful setting."
