Nestled in the picturesque beauty of 1770, Bustard Bay Lodge is a spacious, two-level retreat offering the perfect escape for large groups or families. This six-bedroom home features a luxurious main bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite, plus four additional queen bedrooms (one with an ensuite) and two single bedrooms across both levels.
The upper level boasts an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area, ideal for gatherings, while the lower level offers a convenient kitchenette and seating area. Step outside onto the expansive deck with ample seating and a BBQ, where you can soak in stunning views of Bustard Bay – the perfect spot for sunset drinks or a leisurely meal.
Additional amenities include a washing machine, complimentary toiletries, linen, and towels, along with plenty of on-site parking. While there’s no Wi-Fi, this serene location invites you to unplug and enjoy the natural beauty around you.
Pets are welcome (with a $100 per pet fee), and although there’s no air conditioning, high-powered ceiling fans ensure you stay cool and comfortable throughout your stay.

Agnes Water and 1770 are surrounded by stunning National Parks, pristine waterways and long stretches of unspoiled beaches which front onto the Coral Sea.
Along the headlands of Seventeen Seventy visitors are offered amazing panoramic views across Bustard Bay, the estuary & creeks.
We enjoy an excellent year-round climate with Queensland’s northernmost surf beach at Agnes Water for surfing and beach activities.
Along the Bay at 1770 you can walk along the parklands and enjoy kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding.
It is a short drive to the variety of cafes & boutique shops in the Agnes Water shopping Village or walk down to the beautiful Agnes Water surf beach for a leisurely day along the water.
A vibrant Sunday morning market takes place every second weekend.
Getting Around:
We recommend guests have a vehicle to travel around the area.
There is a shuttle bus that can offer tours, pick up/drop off services from your accommodation, the train station or airport. Please get in touch for more information.
There is a tourism information centre in Agnes Water.
Nearest airports: Gladstone and Bundaberg - 75 kilometres.
Nearest train stop: Miriam Vale - 50 kilometres.
Bus: Greyhound travels to the area daily.
The bus stop is at the Ampol service station in Agnes Water, approx. 5 kilometres away.
