"Old worldy charm on 2 floors. Nice bed and lounge and lovely spa bath in the bathroom down the spiral staircase. Kitchen well equipped and you could sit outside in the garden "

"The property is too old & very tired. Needs lots of upgrades. Outside was dirty & unkept, rubbish bins overfilling thru out whole stay. There were mice in side. No coffee, or breakfast foods. . Unusual especially when you fly in late on a Sunday. People usually leave milk, bread, cereal & eggs etc. Two burners didn’t work, hair dryer didn’t work, some lights didn’t work. Was definitely too expensive for what it was. Although we appreciated you changing our bookings as we had to cancel Xmas...

"We enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable, had everything we needed, has a lovely, tranquil garden & the spa was definitely great after a 50km bike ride. The added extras such as chocolates, a bottle of wine, bacon, eggs, a loaf of bread & water bottles was an added bonus. (Just sorry that Velvet & Willow Wines was not open over the Xmas/NY - would have loved to have stopped in there.) Thank you for letting us stay, Ileen & Richard. "

"Lovely spacious cottage with a good sized comfortable couch which we appreciated! Check in and check out was a breeze. Location was a very short walk to cafes and hotel/restaurants. We would definitely stay again! Love that we got chocolates, wine and a cheese with crackers! "

"We had many problems in the cottage, starting with difficulty getting the key out of the black box. Unable to contact owner or maintenance man on either numbers given. Heater not working, control panel very grimy, freezer shelf badly in need of defrosting, outside back light not working, wood stove not working efficiently because of ashes from previous fires, and no pan or tools to clean it out with. Because heater not working, insufficient wood for wood fire. cobwebs in 2nd bedroom."

"Spent two nights in this well appointed cottage. Cottage has great rural views is close to vineyards and the town centre. Owner personally welcomed us otherwise lives close by and was just a phone call away. Quiet location. Provided with a breakfast hamper stocked with produce including eggs and bacon."
