"The house was just as described. Everything was clean and the house was well equipped. The location of the house was good, in a nice village with shops, pubs, and places to eat all within walking distance. We were able to visit lots of the surrounding towns and beaches. "Searles is a good site with plenty of entertainment. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay BUT. We made the booking through Hoseasons and on two occasions we received emails saying your payment has not gone through and the booking was cancelled without any contact with us apart form the email. We struggled to find a phone number to resolve the problem which is still a mystery. Searles provided us with contact number and we were able to book it over the phone. The online booking system was a disaster"

"We had a fabulous weekend at The Grange, the house is beautiful, well equipped for large groups/families and has plenty of space. There are lots of bathrooms, mirrors, lovely thick bath towels, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens plus the Aga. Lots of thoughtful touches for a large party. There is a great games room - only thing to note is that it’s on the first floor so not really part of the main living / communal areas downstairs. We loved our weekend away and would definitely return, thank you!! "

"3 families (6 adults and rest teenagers / kids) get together for 4 nights Had supermarket deliver for first night and spent the rest of the week enjoying each others company ! The kids loved the games room, swimming pool , we set up badminton and was other garden games too - we spent evenings playing bored games, so much quality time and phones / tablets hardly touched !! Plenty of space to spread out too and spend time alone or with different groups of people ! We also had enough space...

"Excellent location and accommodation. Clean and well looked after. Hosts really quick and friendly with replies. Dog friendly with large enclosed garden and dog friendly beach (February) literally across the road. We ordered tescos for arrival which was really easy. As out of season, no nearby shops, but we expected this and felt prepared with our tescos. Peaceful locations and great for dog walks. Would definitely recommend "

"Super clean, spacious, lovely private garden with badminton rackets and football. Well stocked with tea, coffee, toilet paper, salt & pepper etc etc. 3 generations stayed a week and we loved it. Simple to find. Plenty of room. We didn't find the road a problem with noise at all. Easy walk into town and to the swimming pool. We had a smashing time. Would highly recommend!"

"Property was exactly as pictured, beautiful location and spacious, would recommend this to anyone! Only downside is that it feels like it needs a tiny bit of maintenance. Multiple chairs and cupboards were broken, couple of toilets blocked, couple of showers and taps didn’t work. These are all minor things which I presume due to how amazing this place is and fully booked the owners don’t have an opportunity to fix these little things. Would still recommend!"

"Hoot Hollow is lovely, a spacious bungalow and a perfect place to unwind. The beaches nearby are deserted except for a few dogs and horses. At the end of the day it was pure bliss to sink into the hot tub and watch the sun setting. Really classy decoration inside and outside of the bungalow with modern touches making life easy. Excellent communication with the host. Will more than likely be back in the future! 😊"
