My room looked out on the road; at first I thought it would be too noisy but the double glazing was very effective at blocking the sound. Good information eg clearly labelled light switches. Easy to use door seduriry with codes. I was delighted to be able to leave my luggage between check-out and train departure. Very convenient for station, town, restaurants, church. I would recommend...

"Searles is a good site with plenty of entertainment. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay BUT. We made the booking through Hoseasons and on two occasions we received emails saying your payment has not gone through and the booking was cancelled without any contact with us apart form the email. We struggled to find a phone number to resolve the problem which is still a mystery. Searles provided us with contact number and we were able to book it over the phone. The online booking system was a disaster"

"Super clean, spacious, lovely private garden with badminton rackets and football. Well stocked with tea, coffee, toilet paper, salt & pepper etc etc. 3 generations stayed a week and we loved it. Simple to find. Plenty of room. We didn't find the road a problem with noise at all. Easy walk into town and to the swimming pool. We had a smashing time. Would highly recommend!"

In the event, weather wasn't really good enough to spend much time in the garden but would have been great.. Our baby grandchild wasn't quite old enough for the facilities provided but two highchairs, stairgates and toys make it ideal for babies and young children. For us it’s perfect, long walks on the beach then short walk to the pub. The cottage is homely, dog friendly and has everything you need Which is why we keep coming back! "
