"The hotel was under construction and I couldn’t check in when I arrived because there was no one at the front desk. The room was clean but toilet rusted and tub scratched up which gave the appearance of being unclean. Bed and linens were comfortable and clean. Nice refrigerator I. The room along with cable tv. It was adequate for our overnight stay and close to MSU athletic fields"

Was surprised the front desk staff didn't consider that when suggesting places to eat. No big deal, we discovered Restaurant Tyler, a charming place down the block,. The only issue with The Hotel Chester was a very loud AC unit in our room "

"Everything was perfect. The location is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The home itself was clean and well furnished. We had plenty of towels and linens and found the beds to be comfortable. My Granddaughter (aged 6) loved the chickens and couldn’t wait to look for eggs each day. She ate all of them herself.it was sweet watching her call them “beautiful ladies”. We would definitely book again."
