"It's great place to camping just outside the Park entrance. It has shower and toilet facility and even warm water in the desert area. Worth the price."

This entire area from Sossusvlei to Solitaire is so beautiful and precious, we are thankful that we’ve had a chance to experience it. The words that kept coming up (besides “beautiful”) were “otherworldly” and “psychedelic”!

You must be very physically fit to climb the dunes or not worth the trouble of driving there on the worst gravel roads. Unfair policy that only those who pay a high price have access to the dunes at sunrise and sunset. Limited food options.
