Fabulous stay
Great value and beautiful surroundings! It is worth remembering that this is an older property full of character. So if you are looking for shiny, corporate design it may not be for you. Well equipped with plenty of local information provided. Relaxed, friendly and efficient management. Would definitely come back!

Great on the outside, room for improvement on the inside
We spent a week at the castle in July in the Salon du Jardin apartment. Pros: beautiful castle, great view, spacious apartment especially the living room was big and lofty, Celine, the hostess, was very helpful. Cons: somewhat dirty, the appliances could use an update as many were quite old especially the fridge, we had no hot water for the first 3 days due to a thermostat malfunction (this was fixed though as fast as possible by Celine), bedrooms quite dark and damp/humid, lack of welcome brochure with common information e.g. wifi-codes, laundry possibilities, place of interest in the vicinity etc. This is definitely a beautiful place and if you are looking for something different than a hotel this is definitely a good candidate. But for our taste, the cons did outweigh the pros unfortunately.

Sehr schöne Lage, aber innen überhaupt nicht sauber. Tote Insekten in der Küche, eine Treppe mit Staub und Haaren darauf, Haare und Zahnpasta in den Waschbecken oben, Spiegel und Dusche waren schmutzig. Auch keine Behälter für den Hausmüll zu finden. Schade, denn es ist eine gute Lage und ein gutes Konzept.

Trés bon acceuil, château bien entretenu, appartement pratique et propre, jolie salle de séjour et hôte super sympa. Nous avons passé un séjour splendid avec nos deux enfants (1 ans). Merci beaucoup!

Wunderbares Schloss in schöner Umgebung
Das kleine Märchenschloss ist gut unterhalten und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnungen sind in einem schönen Schloss-Stil und gut eingerichtet und sauber. Den Park und den Pool hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Auch war die Vermieterin - Céline - sehr freundlich und zuvorkommen. Es hat unserer kleinen Familie sehr gut gefallen.

geräumige Ferienwohnung in historischem Ambiente! Stilvoll gestaltet, sehr gepflegtes Haus , Sehr ruhig, schöner Pool, tolle Landschaft für ruhigen See- und Wanderurlaub. Gute Betreuung der Gäste, stets ansprechbar. Die Schlafräume sind etwas dunkel und klein, das wird aber durch das Ambiente im großen Essraum und im ganzen Schloss wettgemacht!

Nous avions envie de vivre la vie de château et l'objectif est pleinement rempli. La surface d'habitation permet de ne pas se sentir les uns sur les autres. Le Salon du Jardin donne accès à une fontaine qui a bercé nos petits déjeuners, quel bonheur ! Le gardien fait tous les efforts pour qu'on se sente bien, il garde le sourire malgré le travail énorme d'entretien. Univers cosmopolite (hollandais, anglais, allemand, français). Pour les enfants, activités sur place, piscine, ping-pong, babyfoot, petites ballades départ du château. Nous recommandons la plage de Châtillon pour ses équipements (pédalo, ski nautique, baignade surveillée et restaurants sympas au bon rapport qualité-prix)

Prachtig kasteel in een geweldige omgeving met volop activiteiten. De salon du jardin ligt (zoals de naam al zegt) vlakbij de grote tuin op de begane grond. Het appartement is ruim en klassiek, en is goed verzorgd. Het is dankzij de verschillende zitjes mogelijk om buiten te eten en in de tuin te spelen. Het zwembad is dankzij het hek geschikt voor verblijf met kleine kinderen, al vonden ze het water wel erg koud. De omgeving is prachtig, zeker met het Lac du Bourget en de bergen, de vele fietsroutes en leuke bestemmingen zoals Chanaz.

Wij worden zeer vriendelijk welkom geheten op deze prachtige locatie door de gastheer en kregen een korte rondleiding in onze vertrekken. Alsmede een welkomst pakket, met fles wijn en koffie erin, heel leuk en aardig. De omgeving is prachtig, en het verblijf was zeer aangenaam.

Très bel appartement, moderne et ancien en même temps, fonctionnel et spacieux (la veranda est sublime!!). Le jardin est très agréable, spacieux et avec une belle vue. Points négatifs ménage pas très approfondi (morceaux de pain sous le microondes, morceaux de pizza sous la chaise haute bébé) et vu le prix qu'il faut payer (75 euros....) nous avons été choqués! Les fourmis il y en a de partout.... nous avons passé l'aspirateur tous les jours pour éviter de laisser des miettes par terre.. Le château étant entouré par des arbres et la montagne, il n'y a pas beaucoup de lumière et de chaleur dans l'appartement du coup nous avons passé la plupart du temps dans le jardin.

We spent one week in early August here. The accommodation was better than the descriptions on the website. The apartment was breath taking. The resident site manager was very helpful and attentive. We used the castle as a base and made day trips to Geneva, Annecy and nearby lakes. A few things could have been better the children's bedroom was dark and got very hot at times. An Air conditioner could improve the situation. The pool is also a little small for the number of families (10) that use the site. We enjoyed our time and would recommend it to anyone.

Dit kasteel is echt heel mooi! Ruime appartementen, grote tuin, heerlijk zwembad bij warm weer. De kinderen genoten volop en zwommen en speelden de hele dag met andere kinderen. Ook met minder goed weer is er genoeg te doen in de omgeving (musea en winkels in Chambéry, Genève, Annecy, Aix les Bains).

Het kasteel ligt op een geweldige plek, mooi beschut tegen de berghelling. Het heeft een prachtig zwenbad, waar het goed toeven is. Zeker bij temperaturen boven de 30 graden zoals wij die hadden in juli. Het appartement (Salon du Jardin) is ruim, maar de inrichting is ronduit gedateerd. Werkelijk ieder zitmeubel is doorgezakt en de eettafel moesten we bij aankomst repareren. Er zijn slechts drie pitten om op te koken en dat is bijzonder weinig voor zes personen. Verder ontbreekt er een vriesvak in de koelkast en is er geen oven. Dat is in de keuken behoorlijk improviseren, of beter gezegd: kamperen. Het is al met al niet de allure die je bij de boeking verwacht. Desalniettemin hebben we een prima vakantie gehad, niet in de laatste plaats door de beheerster (die de beheerder verving) die ons steeds met raad en daad terzijde stond. En met de extreme temperaturen was het bovendien bijzonder koel in huis!
