"The hotel is fantastic, the staff was so friendly, the food spread was delicious and variable. The breakfast was my favourite, fresh guacamole, amongst other things, was the best way to start the day! For those wanting to travel by bus there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the city centre. There is also a QR code listed at the stop which tells in how many minutes the bus will arrive at the stop, this is extremely handy for planning the departure time...

"Stayed for one week towards end of March. A great welcome when we arrived at nearly 10pm. Cold buffet served to us in our room shortly after we checked in as we had missed out on our evening meal. Room and bathroom, clean and tidy. Excellent selection of food and nicely presented. Majority of staff polite, friendly and respectful. Yes I would stay again. "

"This was our second day at the Occidental, unfortunately that air-conditioning was not working for our day which we were not made aware of on check in. Our room was ready early when we arrived and we were allocated to the ninth floor with a balcony and partial sea view which was very nice. Unfortunately without Aircon, it was just too hot at night even with the patio doors open so we did struggle to sleep. I do have an outside food bar and drinks bar. "Great stay in a very accommodating hotel following our short-notice flight cancellation. Spent a night and day here enjoying all the facilities. The pool area, gardens and restaurant/bar were fab. May well stay here again when next visiting the Malaga area."
