"This is an adequate place to stay if you go in with the expectation that it is a homestay, not a hotel. All staff were very friendly and courteous. The floor was quite clean but the room was very basic and old, with dirty walls. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. A light breakfast is included but other amenities listed on Expedia were not: for example, there is no daily housekeeping and no toiletries, not even soap! We did get towels and toilet paper upon request! Also note there is NO HOT...

"Fantastic stay at this rustic, cliff-top resort. Staff were exceptional with frequent check in to ensure we were having a good stay. The View restaurant is perched atop the cliff face and forges panoramic views of Kuta and the Indian Ocean. Food, drinks and service all great. I’d booked a forest room with dipping pool, but was upgraded on arrival to ocean view bungalow (no.22) with infinity pool. The room is rustic and a little basic, but that’s the charm. "This is a very small hotel, maybe only 6-7 rooms all facing onto the pool. The room is clean and comfortable. The people are very sweet and helpful. Breakfast is a choice of eggs with fruit, juice and toast which they bring to your room for the time you request it. The only thing is that our shower head was coming out of the wall. You could still shower though. You can also hire scooters from the hotel"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Jati cottage. We were really sad to leave. Our room exceeded our expectations on arrival. Our room was accessed up our own set of steps, we had a large private balcony overlooking the pool. 2 double beds side by side which was perfect for our needs, there was also a sofa in the room. The bathroom was spacious. The pool area is stunning with plants surrounding the pool giving the ground floor rooms privacy and giving the pool area a really tropical feel. Free...

"The place was beautiful! I felt very safe walking around at night, and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The pool was awesome, every night of our stay we had a drink with our feet in the pool. It was lovely!"

"Lovely stay. Staff very friendly but let you get on with your own schedule. Would recommend bringing your own water bottle or buying drinks from shop as amenities are only from your room. This didnt bother us though and it was a great stay."

"My stay at the Villa was enjoyable, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff. However, the surrounding area was quite unclean, and the location was less than ideal."

"The Eden House was an incredible oasis minutes from.the busy shopping area, with a literal.walk into a peaceful, personalized haven. The Buddist feel and decor, both sophicated and warm, was paired with homemade breakfasts and a hands-on owner. I wouldbot have stayed anywhere else!"

"Well the previous reviews were right, Gede (the owner) and his family provided amazing service. From check in, booking island tour, hiring a scooter, arranging a fast boat for us to get back to Bali was all so easy, great prices. (Was cheaper getting the fast boat back then there) Whilst the pool was small, it was prefect only a small hotel so never full with people when the place only had 1 room left. Would recommend. "

"Great staff. Very accommodating. Laundry service, scooter rental, massage, day trips... whatever you want, they’ll happily arrange it for you. Directly across from the Monkey Forest. Sometimes the Monkeys even come over and climb in the trees around the property."

"This resort is truly exceptional! From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with a refreshing cold drink and a cooling wet towel—such a thoughtful touch. The staff are incredibly friendly, always going above and beyond to ensure your every need is met. The level of cleanliness is unmatched; from the rooms to the common areas, there is constant attention to detail, making sure everything is spotless at all times. Every aspect of the experience is designed to make you feel pampered and well cared for, including the kids! We stayed in a Regency Club room, and it was worth every cent. The food options were abundant, and what truly stood out was the attention to my son’s dietary needs—being Coeliac, he was personally approached each day by the staff to ensure his meals were prepared separately and safely. This thoughtful and proactive service made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable, allowing us to relax without worrying about his food restrictions. We will return to this resort the next time we are in Bali, we loved everything about it. "

"The resort is beautiful and the dining options here are fantastic. Our room was a great size and the bed very comfortable and the housekeeping staff did an amazing job. The spa Services are exceptional and we would highly recommend getting a facial or massage here. We would definitely stay here again. The pools are lovely and the area is very relaxing."
