"The gateway to the sequoia. Highly recommend The River inn. The staff are just amazing and super helpful. The room (cabin) was very comfortable. We actually booked a room and wanted to use the grill but it was not available so the put us in the cabin at no additional charge, i was able to cook right in the kitchen. We will be back as this is a great little place"

Best part is that there is a store almost across the street that has everything you need, including a large selection of beer, wine, liquor & snacks. The pizza place next door was great for dinner. For being an “old style motel” the room was very comfy with large tv. Exceeded my expectations. "

"We spent 3 nights here. The bed was very comfortable. The property is lovely. The clamp that holds the shower head broke and it was fixed promptly. On a clear night, we enjoyed stargazing from the chaise lounges in the yard. The breakfasts were delicious! Lisa offered suggestions for dining in town which turned out to be very good.
