Driving in, you may see deer and quail. Walk up to the front door while listening to the birds in the trees along the road.
Great mountain views from the sliding glass door in the living room. Sit on the porch, watch the birds put on a show. Enjoy the gardens, blooming at different times of year.

Hawks, eagles, quail, deer, coyote, owls. BIRD WATCH PARADISE ! Junko's, Downy Woodpeckers, Chackadee's, Hummers all year, small hawk, large hawk. Finch, Quail. Borrow the binoculars, enjoy the birding book.
Gardens, baths, feeders and nesting boxes create a birding paradise.

Large yard, gardens, open grassy area in front to throw a ball for your furry friend.

Talk a walk to Railroad Bridge Park and the new Tribal Nature Center. Watch for birding, driftwood, and art events. Enjoy the Dungeness River, walk or bike the trail, have a cup of coffee in the Nature Center.

Bikes are welcome on the trail. Ride all the way to Port Angeles !

Downtown Sequim is close. Ride your bikes or take a short drive.

Vising the Olympic cottage
It was a very quiet and peaceful place and the view of the mountains were stunning. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Sequim.

Great place! Recommend!
We stayed here when visiting Olympic National Park. It was a nice quiet town and the owner has put a lot of effort into the rental! It was nice to sit out on the porch and watch the sunrise. Highly recommend staying here! The city is very quiet and most things close at 8pm. We aren't nightlife people so this didn't bother us.

It was so nice to come back to this home each late afternoon after exploring all day.
Very well organized home and well stocked! The outdoor sitting area in the back is delightful to watch wildlife, particularly hummingbirds. It felt like they became my friends!

Comfortable cottage where the host thought of everything. Beautiful garden with mountain view, yet only 5 minutes from the Discovery Bike Trail and all necessary shopping and great restaurants. Best VRBO experience we've ever had!

Idyllic!
This was a wonderfully clean and comfortable cottage. Everything was as described in the listing (or even better!). The setting is beautiful, and we enjoyed watching the birds and deer in the yard. Veronica made the cottage feel so welcoming and added so many thoughtful touches with anything we might possibly need. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking to stay on the Olympic Peninsula!

Great place, easy to find, views of Olympic mtns were spectacular. Location to restaurants, stores and sites were within easy driving distance. Yard was arranged and decorated for great bird watching. Information and binoculars to identify the birds was available, saw deer everyday. House was pleasing and inviting for relaxation.

A hiking/backpacking trip with a friend was canceled when my friend became ill the week before. I found this last minute cottage and it was absolutely perfect. Definitely a 5 star for cleanliness, ease of renting, fully stocked with anything I could possibly need. The beautiful yard was a bonus.. I enjoyed having coffee on the front porch and discovered I love bird watching. Veronica was an excellent communicator for any questions..I will definitely be back.

What a lovely experience. The cottage is surrounded by blooming heather, and jonquils, bird baths, bird feeders and lovely trellis'. We sat on the deck in the front of the house at sunset and watched a copy of quail run through the yard. The dog run at the side of the house is large enough for two dogs to romp . We would happily stay there again!

I recently stayed there with my adult son and our dog. Such a nice place in a great location! Close to the Discovery Trail and Nature Center, and also nearby Olympic National Park. Great backyard with beautiful views of the snow-capped mountains. Two bedrooms, comfy bed, and everything you could possibly need are here! Our dog loved the huge grass area and watching all the birds. Veronica is a great host and I would definitely stay again if the need arises. Thanks Veronica!
