Obviously, the location is the best part about this stay. You're just a very short walk down a single alley away from the Myeongdong shopping streets, which itself is the center of Seoul. Two subway stations and other bus stations are also within short walking distance.
I love the small shared kitchen on each floor, with dishes and utensils you can use and wash afterwards, as well as stove, microwave, and even community refrigerator. The washer and dryer appear to be free to use (no coins needed)! There is also a free water dispenser with both cold and hot water. During our stay, there was a group of 3 women who monopolized the kitchen, and that was frustrating.
The room was tiny. The bed had a huge dip on one side. The bathroom is toilet, shower, and sink, all in one small combined space, so the toilet will get drenched when you take a shower. Toilet paper and towel bar are attached to the back wall where shower water comes out, so those do stay dry. Mini fridge is in the room, and does work. Room also has its own wi-fi, so you don't share with other residents. Room advertises pocket wi-fi available for rent at low prices, but the hotel staff says that hasn't been available since COVID. You do have to take your shoes off when you get off the elevator for your floor. There is a shoe locker for your room number, where you trade your shoes for provided slippers. There is another pair of slippers that you use only for the cramped bathroom.
Low price made the stay okay.
