Great location with lots nearby, but that comes along with a good bit of street noise at night so request a room on the alley side of the building and/or be prepared to bring earplugs if that’s going to bother you.
Other than that one note it’s a perfect spot to check out central Seoul. Super clean, great staff, nice rooftop to hang out on.
Super convenient Hotel with subway access right outside. It’s also walkable to a lot of areas and there are numerous restaurants and bars right outside
If Kawasaki Warehouse, the old arcade in Japan modeled after Kowloon walled city, could become a hotel then this would be it. This place has a great location and the staff is super sweet. We could borrow umbrellas when it was raining and answered any questions we had. The room was clean where it mattered. The place is really for locals and patrons of other Asian countries, and we rather enjoyed that local flavor. I figured when I booked this place that it was either a cute boutique hotel, or a love hotel. It probably used to be boutique and then got sold to a different owner. Someone really loved this hotel at one point in time because there’s so much amazing attention to detail and style. Now it seems the restaurant downstairs is the primary income maker and thus more attention is spent on that. Since it’s on pretty much the bourbon street of Korea, there will be night markets late into the evening which actually weren’t that loud, but music started at midnight and went till about 5 PM. Maybe that music came from the downstairs restaurant which turns into a club. Who knows we didn’t investigate. The rooftop is awesome and gives views of the area. It’s peaceful. No one really used it so we enjoyed having coffee up there. It has a cute camping theme but items on the roof are deteriorating from years of being in the sun, likely forgotten by the current management. Still was a highlight for us. It was an ok hotel but would not return to stay on the street.
To call this place a disaster is an understatement. The "room" had a layer of dust on everything, the cabinets were falling off the hinges, and it smelled bad. We barely wanted to put our bags on the floors.
well, if you like crowds, definitely this hotel will be perfect. But it’s bit too much. shopping and the choice of restaurants were great.

Great location for a tourist seeing Seoul. Train station at the front door, lots of sights in easy walking distance. Street outside gets very busy every night so ask for a room facing away from the street to minimise noise. We overlooked the street and sleep was difficult until i got earplugs. Rock hard beds. Great shower pressure. No where to do laundry. Very convenient location.
I liked the decor of the lobby. It felt very warm and inviting. Appreciated that the rooms seemed very clean and modern. Helpful staff. Excellent location.
We loved the location of the hotel. I liked that it seemed more personable. The room seemed clean. We admired the bathroom. Staff was very eager to please. We LOVED the neighborhood. We hope to return to Korea. If we do, we will always consider this hotel first.
Overall a fantastic stay. The only negative was the toilet door was quite stiff. Being a sliding door, would be nicer if it was easier to open and close. Hotel is situated in a busy area so can get a bit nosiy, but if you like eating and drinking its the place to be. Enjoyed our stay, thank you for your hospitality!
Location is really good and the lobby is very nice. We had a room that faces the back of the building so we got no noise at all from the street. On the other hand, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable (my back is still in pain) and not everyone in the front desk speaks English (they’re also not the most friendly). It was a fair price for a 2 stars hotel.
Excellent location with an underground station at your doorstep. In the room you find all the toiletries you may need and even a hair straightener as well as the airdryer. Free drinking water. A few little aesthetic touch ups would make the room perfect.
This hotel was easy to get around the city. We walked to many places. The streets are filled with night food vendors. There’s a lovely shopping/eating area across the street. Don’t be fooled. It’s a very cute, lovely area. Mil Toast for breakfast was the best!!
Location is pretty good, you walk out of the hotel and almost straight into the subway. Directly opposite the hotel you can venture into a maze of restaurants, retail and cafes. The staff were friendly and did their best with our respective language barriers. The bed was almost rock hard, maybe its a Korean preference with a firm mattress and that might be a consideration for some. Whilst there is some surrounding noise as surrounding places kick on until late, this didn't bother me.
Had a really nice stay ! Steps away to Hanok Village with so many cozy cafes, bakeries, restaurants and microbrews !
We hope to stay here again! Clean room and cute lobby!
This male receptionist is the worst and rudest guy I've ever met, can't believe it happened in hospitality industry. My bf and I asked him if he speaks Chinese or English, he denied, and when my bf tried to use translation app and ask if they have wall adapters to borrow, I heard the receptionist kept murmuring in Korean, like 7-8 sentences. Since I watched many Korean dramas, I heard "michoso" and "shibal", which are Korean words for crazy and f*ck. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. I said "You thought I don't know what Shibal means? Shibal!"
