This was a lovely hotel in an up and coming area. It has just opened (2016 summer) and I was very wary when we got out at the nearest tube station because the area isn't great and there is a smell (which actually pervades most of the city). However, once we were inside the hotel it was very nice. Modern and stylish and with little Korean quirks (soft shoes for wearing into the bedroom, wet room with sink outside bathroom). The staff were polite, and although they didn't speak a lot of English they tried very hard to communicate using translation apps etc. and were always willing to help.
The room was great, although the control panel (little electronic screen for controlling lights/temperature/parking etc.) was on the blink and we could never get the air conditioning to reduce the temperature below 26 degrees so didn't sleep well. It was lovely and clean, had nice bath products and complimentary bottled water and tea, plus a kettle and a few other beverages were available. It has no dining/spa or common area, but it is ideal if you just want somewhere nice to crash between sightseeing on holiday. Overall, good value for the price we paid, very pleasant decor/lighting modern and comfortable, lots of mirrors and we were very happy with our stay.
