Disliked: Room comfort
Cheap, convenient, clean, but minimal comfort
The room was rather Spartan and the bed quite narrow... it wasn't much of an issue for me as I am rather thin (66 kilos), but if you are a big guy, it might be not be very convenient. But I give it 4 stars overall for price and convenience. Staying in an individual room + bathroom in a city like Seoul for 25 USD/night is really cool, and as they say "you get what you pay for", so for me, there is nothing to complain about. I was too busy exploring the city to care about my room anyway. ;)
Difficult to locate the hotel especially at night. Please provide the clear map. The food around is cheaper than Myeong Dong

Average guesthouse but very cheap
This is an average guesthouse and for the price we paid, we'd have extended it if we weren't at the end of our Korea trip. There was a sale so the double room with private bathroom that we stayed at was worth it. The thing I didn't like was that it was hard to find, and you had to go into two alleys. We went down the wrong alley and got lost. They only posted a sign to the guesthouse from one direction but we came in through another street and didn't see anything. The best part was it's an amazing restaurant area, lots of good eateries just right outside those alleys and we'd have loved to explore the food in that area more. Some hotels we stayed at in Korea wasn't by that many restaurants with such huge choices. It also had AC in our room and that was nice because the window was really small and the room not very large so it would have gotten stuffy otherwise.
We were able to check in early without any issues. The room was pretty bland and didn't have a tv, but it was very clean. The staff were friendly and gave us some dinner recommendations. It's under 5 minutes to get to the subway, with some restaurants and 7/11, GS, etc close by.

You get what you pay for
I spent a little bit more time to find this hotel on the first day in Seoul. Fortunately, I got some help from a couple staying in the same hotel. The staff in the front desk was very nice and offered me some help to load my bags to the second floor. I had a one-bed room for one person with a bathroom and air conditioner, and the space was ample. The breakfast is very basic and simple. In general, I will still choice this hotel next time to Seoul and recommend to my friends.

Nice and small hotel.
Small hotel was located near subway and bus stop. All staff can speak English and nice.
Since the hotel rate wasn't cheap, I wasn't expecting too much from the experience. Our room was small but had ample bed space with 2 sets of twin bunk beds, and there was plenty of room in the shower/bathroom for what we needed. I have stayed in other comparably priced guest houses and would say the experience here is comparable. It's a fairly basic hotel, and it provides toast, jam, and coffee for breakfast. But for the price, I'd say you get what you pay for and potentially a little more. The staff was nice enough, and they spoke English well.
The image of the hotel is very old & run down. However, the front desk customer service is helpful and speak good English . For travelers that do not mind on the conditions of the hotel, this is quite a reasonable price to stay with.
Breakfast is self service at the highest floor, and location is accessible to anywhere in town.
The overall was not pleasant. When first entered the room, it looks old and feels like long time no clean up already. The bed sheet looks dirty and lots of black hairball, feels like it have been use for 10 years and never changed.

affordable hotel near to metrol station.
Small motel with small but reasonable for what we paid for, walking distance to subway station. Bed come with heater as well
This hotel was clean and quiet, but an older building. The staff was very kind and helpful, although he had limited English. The location was excellent- very close to the subway stops and restaurants nearby. The breakfast was toast and tea. Overall a good place to sleep but not much else.
I was looking for affordable lodging close to the University where I would be staying in the dorms. It was within walking distance to convenience stores and the staff was helpful in contacting a taxi for me, when needed.
I stayed with my family for 5 nights. From the first day we got there we felt at home. Staff went out of their way to help you. Everyone spoke English and they booked the DMZ tour for us. The tour picks you up at the hotel.
The hotel is not fancy but it has everything you need. Air conditioner, fast wi-fi, and it even has a free washer. You have to hang dry your clothes but they have wires for that.
I travelled in a tight budget that's why I picked this hotel but even if I could afford a better hotel, from now on, I am only staying at this hotel.
Highly recommended!!!
The price of the hotel did not match the quality. I found the bed to be very hard and uncomfortable. The "flat screen" tv was a large, older TV which made a very loud squeaking noise. To be honest, I've had more comfortable stays in hostels. I did not sleep comfortably and would not recommend this hotel. The only upside was the closeness to the subway station (2 minute walk).
