"Location of this place is outstanding, a nice easy walk into the center of the historical area and to a small nearby food market. The apartment is nicely furnished with primarily antiques, spacious and welcoming, though a bit musty smelling. Bathrooms were updated and very clean. We continuously had problems with the Wi-Fi service, and though the owner was promptly responsive in regard to checking in and out there was zero response to our Wi-Fi questions. "The good: Villa was very clean up on arrival. The beds are comfortable. The mini-split heat/AC worked well, although we didn't need it much. The villas all sit on top of a hill, with spectacular views. The food at the restaurant on the property is some of the best in the area, and you will struggle to beat the price. "The location is very isolated from population centers, very high in the hills. You are very close to nature and yet with excellent amenities to enjoy. Hospitality is lacking in that absolutely nothing is included in your room except towels and scant utilities to cook. No wine glasses in Tuscany! Internet is inconsistent. Expect the bare minimum services."

"The service at this hotel was impeccable. We were running late for our wine tasting but they were still SO accommodating! The rooms were beautiful and the view from the hotel are amazing. It was super accessible to everything. Also, the parking options were great - highly recommend. They're so responsive through texting and it was great to have this level of service. Highly rec! "

"We had a lovely stay and the hosts were warm, accommodating and responsive. The location is incredible -- extensive views from both sides of the property; the hilltop village setting is out of a postcard with lovely little streets and nooks to explore; and the local shops, market days, restaurants provide everything needed locally. The property is adequate, a little rustic, but well suited to time outdoors by the lovely pool and as a springboard for day trips throughout amazing Tuscany....

We enjoyed our stay very much.

"We had an excellent 4-night stay at Hotel Italia. We were particularly impressed by the friendliness, helpfulness, efficiency of the staff - desk, breakfast room, cleaning service. Our room was clean and well-kept. All the facilities worked well: shower temperature and pressure, heating, lights, tea kettle, refrigerator. The beds were standard European firmness. The bedding was cozy. Breakfast was a delicious spread, with lots to choose from. The Hotel is just a few minutes walk from the train station, and an easy walk to the historic district. We highly recommend Hotel Italia."
