"We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "

"Made the reservation for my wife as she was driving across France and wasn't sure when she would need to sleep. I wasn't able to confirm any details by calling the property because of a language barrier but that didn't bother me because my wife is French and speaks natively. The demeanor of the lady checking my wife in was beyond a Parisian cold. Given what my wife has explained she was just rude. And my wife is someone who never likes to complain about customer service. "Property room was small for the family with kids No necessary items like hot water , tea , coffee in the room. We asked for another room but they rejected it."

"We were put into hotel de la gare (sister hotel next door)as it was better for limited mobility guests. The room and bathroom were perfect, being on the ground floor and with all the amenities needed. Breakfast was good quality and reasonably priced. The restaurant had a limited menu but was OK"

"Reception opens at 5pm We went at 4:50pm and the receptionist yelled at us for showing up early I have traveled to over 80 countries and stayed at 100’s of hotels over the past 30 years Have not met someone more rude The hotel is clean (more like a motel). "The rooms were lovely and well appointed. Most staff spoke a little English so communication was not an issue. I liked having access to the spa however perhaps there should be one point of payment to prevent Being confused. There was no access to a restaurant which would have been nice to know at the time of booking."
