"A fantastic and chill way to spend time with the majestic Sumatran elephants in a very impressive environment. The facilities are great and they are constantly improving. The room was extremely comfortable and the staff quickly and effectively made up our room and performed the turndown service seamlessly. The place is a ton of fun and very well cared for. My family loved it all. "

"It was a huge 1 bedroom apartment, which was good as it helped block out some of the traffic noise. Staff were really nice and helpful, the night watch man booked a dolphin watching trip for me at the same price as it would have been in town, and I was picked up by the boat right in front of the hotel. "Eventhough the location was kinda far and independent, the mood of resort was so comfy and peaceful. And Every facilities like pool, morning yoga, underground bar was so nice. One of the most memorable moments was at the underground bar. Live music with good voice singer. So nice. "

All the hotel staff are very polite, welcoming, friendly, they immediately try to help with any issue, very friendly and smiling. The service was top notch. "Such an amazing experience at this hotel, not only is the staff incredibly kind and attentive they are also so thoughtful. We stayed for our honeymoon in the pool villa, and on the first night we came in they gave us a call in the morning to see if we’d like to have breakfast even after breakfast hours were over since we hadn’t eaten. "We had a worst experience of staying in this so called villa in Bali. We are lucky that we had planned only one night stay there. It was so smelly, uncleaned,disgusting bathroom and without any privacy and basic facility. We haven't expected much in AUD 40/night but that is even higher rate for this kind of facility.Be careful, Guys!"

"I have knee problems and had to climb so many steps to get to restaurants. Don’t recommend if you are wheelchair or crutches bound since there’s no lift. Loved the surrounding which was quiet and peaceful walking through the jungle was safe. Best for relaxation and out of busy city life"

"very rustic basic simple hut accommodation, very quiet with the most amazing lake and mountain views. the restaurant is built right out into the lake. the overall place however is run down, the pool isnt clean and there arent many tourist facilities. the manager was annoying, the tv/dvd not working. having said that i enjoyed my stay here but only for a couple of days. i gorta bike taxie ride from across the rd to the hot springs which was about 20 mins away and well worth the visit both days."

The level of maintenance is poor, my room sprang several leaks when it rained and a fresh coat of paint would have made all the difference, some shoddy repair work suggested a low budget which didn't reflect the price levels. "One of the best hidden gem in Kintamani area. This place has best view of mountain and lake. All staff is very friendly & helpful. The access to property is a bit confusing, you should ask around in case if you got lost. But it’s super worth it. I want to come back again for sure!"

"Location is just 20 minutes away from Kintamani and about 30 minutes from Ubud, away from the traffic noise and hassle of Ubud. "Buahan is by far my favorite resort. Every single person there is extremely friendly and passionate about their job! I feel so joyful when I see them enjoying their job and life - Ogi, Asana, Legi, Monica, and others (sorry I forgot your names…). And the view is the best! To me, it’s a very spiritual place that allows you to fully connect with the nature. I look forward to coming back😊"
