The beautiful restaurant it is served in, the choices, good coffee, cheeses, eggs, salads meat, fish, juices……. I loved it. Good location to walk to Christmas markets. Parking onsite. "COVID-19 times, so things were not as expected. Honestly the hotel was not up to par during these difficult times and it was noticeable. All around the mood of some few unhappy guests affected the staff and the other guests. Things did not run smoothly nor was the hotel organized enough to enforce the rules all around. It was quite a disappointing stay for the money paid. At least the sea view in the room was nice."

"We stayed one night. The bed was uncomfortable. Felt like an old mattress. Pillows were flat and hard. Thus a poor nights sleep. We were thankful the window opens for fresh air. The bathtub/shower combination is poor. The removable shower head is too low for the average person so either manually hold it or crouch down under it. The worst part was the day after returning home I found bite marks on my body, which within a day became extremely uncomfortable and in the evening hours it was much...

"The hotel was overal okay, they do not have king bed they have a double bed. My specific shower had defects. Overall good experience with minor issues"

"Nice hotel, probably the best location in Wismar if you want to stay close to the sea. You will need a car or take a bus to go to the city center. If you book a single room you will get pretty small room with a single bed, consider to book a double room if you need a bit more space. Breakfast was very good! Staff very nice."

"Just stayed there overnight but the hotel and location left such a positive impression in this brief time that it warrants a big thumbs-up from us (family of 4 dog). Modern amenities, very friendly staff (both reception and breakfast personnel), and such a relaxing location right at the marina and near the beach (suitable for dogs). Would definitely recommend to anyone considering a few days at Travermünde, which is a beautiful spot worth visiting!"
