The cottage is within good driving distance of eastern and central PEI, and we managed to visit several places including our favourite beach Basin Head, which was very quiet at this time of the year but just as beautiful. "The John Burck Historical House was a GREAT place to stay with our family. The house has been beautifully renovated to look how it did in the 1930s. Even the appliances which were new looked like they were from the 1930s. The host was amazing and when we arrived, met us at the house and shared its history with us. "Stunning property! Two beds upstairs that adjoin through the bathroom, perfect for my family with kids. One bedroom downstairs with attached bath. The suite above the garage was ideal for the in-laws to get their own space! Spectacular yard with an amazing gazebo, deck and shoreline to enjoy the evening. Kids were digging for clams every evening and on Panmure Beach every day! Donna was a great host and helped out with everything we could need! We will be back!"
