"Hotel Nilya was my favorite stay on this trip. The hotel was tranquil and quaint. The beds were so comfortable. I absolutely love the sauna like showers that washed all my fatique away after the endless exploring of Ephesus. The host Nazmir was so helpful in making recommendations of what we should see first and where to eat. Trust his advice. We stayed here for 3 nights to see Ephesus, Pamukkale, Sirince, and House Mary. The hotel was easy to get to. Four of us took a flight from Istanbul to Izmir, then 1 hr train to Selcuk. It was a 10 min walk to hotel. Note to all travelers coming to Turkey, bring cash. Almost all restaurants, tours, transportation will ask for Liras or Euros. Some will take your credit card reluctantly. "

"We stayed at this hotel for two nights and really enjoyed it. It’s just minutes from Ayasuluk Castle and a pleasant walk to the Ephesus ruins if you don’t mind walking for about an hour. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were well-appointed with thoughtful details, and the breakfast was nicely presented and delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The hotel overlooked the city, so it has a decent view and there is little traffic around. The staff were very nice and helpful with restaurant advice. It was not crowded at the time of our stay, so street parking was easy. "

"The Pikan Ephesus is a wonderful small boutique hotel in a great location.Very clean with lovely owners who will help any way they can .They also serve a great traditional breakfast Located On a side street behind the museum and also within walking distance of the ruins, good for a little exercise after eating to much delicious Turkish cuisine . It’s hard to decide which restaurant to try first and all within a short stroll. We highly recommend this hotel "
