"When we arrived we weren't sure about Chai T. House, but it has exceeded expectations. Chai T house is a little dated, and the open house and use of wood makes it a bit damp. "Blu guesthouse is a delightful bungalow far from the maddening crowd. It is charming, clean property at the edge of Amed and amongst very friendly villagers. This was the perfect place for a solo traveler looking for a peaceful retreat with partial ocean views. The beach is easily accessible via "stairway to heaven" which was about 1.5km away. "The host for Villa Wirada confirmed our stay in Dec. 2024. Just prior to our travel, the host wrote to say 'sorry I double booked your dates' and I'll find you a like property, which I agreed to. BIG mistake. The property he booked us in was disgusting on every level. fecal matter in the toilet, musty smell in the rooms, dirty sheets, no clean water, etc...he billed us the same price for Villa Wirada, which I imagine is nice. "We had the most wonderful stay in Ubud at lovely Noka House. The villa itself is breathtaking along with its position near paddy fields. Lots of wildlife, birds and insects to keep us company. Nyoman, Ketut and Wayan are so gracious and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. "Fabulous villa only a short drive into central Ubud. Very quiet of a night time and the pool was amazing. Highly recommended if you want to be close to restaurants etc but want sone peace and quiet. Staff were fabulous and the Owner checked in with us daily to make sure we were OK with everything."

"Beautiful villa- very nicely decorated with everything you could need. Beds and pillows very comfy. Very well kept and clean… Komang did a great job each day cleaning and making sure everything was ok. Dollar the driver was great too. Pool lovely and views of rice paddy great. Very tranquil and relaxing. Easy to get around by taxi or scooter.. can walk to ubud but is about 40 minutes… some local restaurants near and bakery at end of road. Lots to do in the vicinity. "We stayed for a week. Our villa was nice but a little older and a fair distance from the main lobby/restaurant. What makes this property special is the staff. Everyone from the servers to the spa staff to manager was kind and engaging. They knew us by name and treated us like family. "

"We left yesterday and I miss the place already :( The staff (front reception, kitchen, housekeeping, garden maintenance, pool guy) so very warm and friendly! The place is tranquil and relaxing with everything you need there, a quaint little coffee shop and humble laundromat are just across the street. The breakfast is 5 a la carte choices of American, continental, Indonesian, Indian and healthy hippy. My husband and I will definitely be back! Thank you so much Sankara staff for making our wedding anniversary so special We stayed in the villa with private pool, which was maintained and cleaned to perfection everyday, the fruit basket was replenished daily too. "
