"We stayed for 5 nights but the room didn’t have a wardrobe and it hadn’t been cleaned halfway through our stay. On the plus side, the staff were extremely professional and friendly, the bar was excellent and the breakfast surpassed all expectations. The location is perfect and we would return. "

"I stayed at this Scandic hotel for a couple of days after completing the Norway in a Nutshell trip from Oslo to Flåm to Bergen. The location is excellent, the property is clean and well-maintained, and the staff service is top-notch. Overall, it offers great value."

"This property does not offer amenities such as shampoo, soap, coffee machine or refrigerator in room but we knew that going in so planed for it. There is a pay coffee machine and refrigerator in the lobby area and a restaurant next door for breakfast. It’s walking distance from the bus and train station. We were happy with City Box"

"You absolutely CANNOT get a better location! Walking distance to both the airport and the train system that brings you directly to the Bergen downtown area!! I would have rated it a 5 had the room been a bit larger. We barely had room for our luggage. Their restaurant has a limited but good menu. "

"Walking distance from main spots in Bergen.Perfect position to explore. Stop for airport bus 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast is ok. Restaurant in the hotel if needed. Supermarket around the corner. Good size room, more than average. Quiet and safe area. It is not a luxury hotel but absolutely perfect! "

"I was only there for 2 nights but for the time i was there I thought it was an excellent hotel all the way all the way around -- the staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was in great condition and very clean. It is also in a convinient location."

"Our room was spacious, well appointed, and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Our only problem was that the pillows were too large or too small. No medium size pillows. Breakfast was delicious with great options, also."

"A fine view of Bergen. Well appointed apartment. Comfortable and spacious. The office staff responded readily to my questions. Only 2 things needed, one important and the other far less important: a more detailed map of the streets to get to the apartment building! and a page in the house manual to give instructions on how to use the tv and remotes. "
