"The cottage was absolutely charming - built from stone yet fully equipped with all the comforts such as comfy beds, great barbecue and other good cooking facilities, plus plenty of perfect spots to relax indoors or out. For those seeking peace and quiet in a rural setting it would be perfect. Lots of great walks, beautiful villages, meandering rivers and nearby attractions including Vaison la Romaine, Avignon, Orange and of course Mont Ventoux. "We had a great stay. Host was very friendly and helpful. Property was very clean, welcoming and had everything we needed for a week's stay including dishwasher and washing machine (although, the addition of a kettle would be really useful for the British tea-lovers!). A peaceful location with fantastic views of Mont Ventoux, the shaded garden would be perfect in the summer. Parking is right next to the property and its just a short drive/cycle (around 2km) from Bedoin."

"The apartment was as described in the VBRO description. Clean and well appointed. The owners made one feel at home. Since the apartment in on multiple floors, this would not be appropriate for the handicapped. Overall, a great experience that we will most likely utilize again."

"This property is in the foothills of Mount Ventoux. The views from the house are amazing. Each morning a short drive to the boulangerie In Bedoin and then sit outside the property looking down at the world going by with a coffee, fresh baguette, Comte cheese and a beef tomato you could not be anywhere better in the world. "This is an excellent place to stay, very conveniently situated and in a quiet residential area. We are a couple and we’re lucky enough to have two weeks here. The house is exceptionally clean appliances that all looked new and it is very well equipped. We self catered every night and had everything we needed. There was lots of private outdoor space, comfy chairs and sun loungers. The area is beautiful, so much to see and do all within short distances. We could have easily stayed for longer....

"What a wonderful stay we had in our Château Jonquier stone cottage gîte! It is ideally located as a base for exploring Provence on day trips — choose any direction! It is a tranquil spot in the countryside yet very close to the magical villages of Séguret and Sablet, while being only 10 minutes from Vaison La Romaine with it’s incredible Roman ruins and myriad restaurants and shops. "Spacious property with good size pool which our teenagers enjoyed (probably better suited to older rather than younger children) and nice outdoor seating area. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely area of Provence surrounded by vineyards, hills and small villages. Lots of good local restaurants and plenty to do in the area."

"Check was good and quick. The accommodation was up a flight of steps, the place looked like a 1980 time share, just needed tlc, having said that, it had living room/kitchenette, separate bedroom and bathroom. The balcony overlooked the swimming pool and open area, and views of a golf course. Very quiet area. Bed was comfortable and clean, linen and towels were sufficient. No on-site restaurant or shop."

"A very good budget option for self catering. Excellent quality bed and linen in a spacious one bedroom apartment. The kitchen had basic cooking utensils and was adequate for our needs. The golf course and lots of green space surrounds the property and it was easy to drive to Place des Italians for park and ride to Avignon. We would definitely stay again when driving from UK to our house in Spain. There was secure parking outside of the apartment and the car park gates shut overnight. It was a very comfortable, safe and peaceful place to stay. "

Villa with private pool, quiet and not overlooked near Avignon

Amazing experience for young children

"After a lot of research, I had selected this property so that our young children (ages 3 and 6) could safely enjoy the outdoors. Specifically, the pool area is fenced in and there is a lovely shallow area for toddlers. The pool was not heated, but it was warm enough in June that our children absolutely loved the pool (perhaps slightly "refreshing" for adults). They also adored the beautiful garden and swingset. The covered terrace was divine for sitting and eating outside, with a perfect view of the garden and pool. The area was very quiet, but an easy drive to Avignon. The supermarket just around the corner is excellent. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary cooking and eating implements. There is lots of room in the dining and living area. The bedrooms were fairly spartan, but spacious and adequate for us, as we were mostly focused on being able to enjoy the outdoors. It was a pleasure communicating with Herve and his parents, who were absolutely lovely and welcoming at check-in and check-out."
