We also enjoyed the table football Our property manager, Benedicte was very welcoming and quick to respond to any queries The only thing that let the property down was the arrangement of the bathrooms. "An immaculately clean and well presented house in a lovely, scenic village. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly sitting on the sun-trap terrace, looking over the river, that leads straight off the living space. The beds were comfy, the linen was great quality and there were even robes that could be used. Communication with the host was excellent and the property was easy to find and access, as there is key safe."

"Wir - 2 Paare mit Hund - haben uns in Tamarinde sehr wohl gefühlt. Bernadette, die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich. Das Haus und der eingezäunte Garten sind wunderschön und mit vielen liebevollen Details gestaltet. Die Küche ist sehr gut mit allem, was man zur Selbstversorgung benötigt, ausgestattet. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Ganz herzlichen Dank an Bernadette für die schöne Zeit!"

"Heerlijk rustige woning en omgeving. Gastvrije eigenaar echter enkel Franstalig ,wat communicatie iets moeilijker maakt. Het zwembad is prima maar mag wat warmer ca.20 graden. De TV is enkel Franstalig.Leuke dorpjes en historische stadjes in de omgeving."

"We had a great time in our villa. It except our expectations. Was spoilt a bit by poor administration of Bellvilla, would not use them again but this had nothing to do with the owner. They were very attentive and helpful. We will come again!"

"The property is even more amazing than the photos. The local people and Miriam who greeted us and helped with whatever we needed. Amazing people. The grounds and pool were brilliant. The house was picturesque.we as a family would recommend this property and area as it’s so peaceful and beautiful. Great for families . Great memories made there. Although we had problems with hire car company the holiday wasn’t ruined due to the property people and location."

"Maison conforme à l'annonce. Très bien équipée et agréable (on s'y sent comme chez soi). Maison située dans un très bel environnement verdoyant. Piscine très bien. Tout est parfait pour les amoureux de la nature, du calme (proche de la ferme et des animaux). Pas loin de Thiviers où le marché est très sympa. Plusieurs visites de sites tels que Limoges, Nontron, Lac de Miallet, Ruines d'Abbaye, châteaux sans oublier celui de Jumilhac, petites villages et restaurants sympa. A refaire sans...

"We had a wonderful stay as a group of friends. We loved the farm feel and picking and snacking on sweet apples and walnuts. The pool was well used and host very helpful despite the language barrier. All in all a lovely stay!"

Les enfants ont eu largement de quoi s’occuper, dehors comme dedans, où de nombreux jeux, jouets et livres sont mis à disposition. Très bonne communication avec les hôtes !"

"The property was gorgeous, clean and the pool was stunning. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a lovely family holiday. Just a couple of points to note. The beds were very very firm, to the point of being uncomfortable. Firm beds are not for us. The listing said hot tub. We hadn’t seen one in the pictures so guessed it was a mis-print, but to confirm there is no hot-tub despite it being listed. The WiFi did not work at all. We called the host who was very good and came straight away but could not fix it. It did not get fixed the entire week we were there. You are in the countryside in an old house so mobile data signal was patchy to non-existent within the property. This can be frustrating when planning days out (or when you have teenagers.) We had a lovely holiday and visited some gorgeous locations in the region. The property was private and clean."

Le Manoir d'Isly

"A stunning house in a great character full town! The property catered for all our needs, especially with 9 kids ranging from 3 to 16. The hosts were extremely accommodating and very helpful which made the stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. Excideuil is a beautiful town with great shops and there are a number of lovely restaurants in both the town and the surrounding area. The market on Thursday is also superb. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone wanting to escape for a relaxing break away. Thank you."

Perfect holiday stay

"This was the first time on holiday with small children and this home was perfect! Lovely and quiet with a private pool. The location was out the way, but we had a car so wasn’t a problem. Would love to stay again, and would recommend this stay to others! Perfect if you want a peaceful holiday. "
