If you are interested in learning how Cognac is made then the 'Université des Eaux-de-Vie' is well worth a visit. Towns worth visiting in the area include Poitiers and the port city of La Rochelle. In het hartje van de Grande Champagne, op een boogscheut van de stad Cognac, ligt dit verblijf te midden van de wijngaarden in een ongelooflijk rustige omgeving. Het huisje biedt alles wat je nodig hebt voor 2 en is kraaknet. De zeer sympathieke gastvrouw en heer verblijven op hetzelfde terrein en geven je een schat van informatie over de streek. Dit was een zeer geslaagde vakantie voor ons. Wij gaan nog terug.
