"The property was very large and private. Lots of space and the patio and pool were great. The best part was the host. He was very attentive and helped us find our way around the area. The location is very residential so not the active hustle of the city so our rental car was essential to get the most out of the location but we had a great time visiting the nearby beaches and towns."

"When we booked this was rated as 4-star. Plenty of space, comfortable bed and nice friendly owners, but 4-star it isn't. We were also lead to believe that it was in walking distance of various restaurants but there was nothing - the nearby hotel had a beach bar/restaurant but that closed for the season during our stay (in September?). Views over a building site! The photos on the Villa's website include several that are actually of the mentioned hotel, not Villa Nico and it's own facilities."

"Mislav was very accomadating with a early check in - and change of plans we had to make. Mislav drove us to the grocery store and even helped us shop! The house is perfect for large family or friends. Every bedroom has a bathroom . The balcony and view were amazing. Mosquitos were a problem at night. "This beautiful property is in Trogir and sits at the top of the overlooking the town. The house and pool were wonderful! Everything is modern and up to date with an easy walk to the town. "The property was new and beautiful and was very comfortable for our family of six. We enjoyed the gorgeous view of Split from the pool and Master bedroom. The home is conveniently located close to Split and provided a nice base for our tours of Plitvice Lakes and Krka and our boat trip to Hvar. We would happily stay there again on a future visit."

"We are two families who stayed 5 nights at this incredible property surrounded by olive trees with a beautiful view of the Adriatic. The owners gave us a wonderful welcome with delicious appetizers, their award winning olive oil (we bought three bottles to take home) and home made grappa liquor. Our kids enjoyed the pool, we loved the fully equipped outdoor kitchen and grill and the proximity to Trogir and numerous supermarkets. We would stay here again if we come back. "The villa is beautiful, with the most spectacular views, it's very large and decorated to the highest standard. All our family enjoyed their stay, it was like staying in a 5 star hotel with the bathroom facilities laid out for guests. The only negative I could say is the roads going up to the villa are very narrow and can be difficult with cars coming in the opposite direction, also the area of Podstrana isn't pretty, but nice around the beach and harbour, road to split is very busy for at least...

"The Villa was perfect for two people very clean the hosts were very easy to deal with. There was a lot of restaurants, shopping and tour companies to choose from all within walking distance. Our host went above and beyond to arrange a town car to take us to the airport On a side note do not use taxis in Split they are extremely expensive and not very honest. "

"Right in the old town of split, so as you would expect this is an old building. Rooms on the small side but equipped well with kettle hairdryer safe fridge. No lifts so need to be able to climb the stairs. Help available to carry luggage on arrival but due to early departure not available when we left. Good breakfast in very small breakfast room. Was fine for us as hotel was not full but could get busy in high season. Kindly allowed us to make a sandwich prior to breakfast time to take to the airport. Friendly team at the hotel. "

Hidden gem!

"Our stay was amazing! Clear and proactive instructions on how to get into the apartment, although it took a little finding with Google maps but that is down to the wonderful maze that is the old town of Dubrovnik 😍 the apartments were fabulous - clean, modern but in a and in a Central location "

"we loved this place. we stayed here for a few days at the end of our europe trip, and it was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. pool/ocean/building view did not disappoint - it’s exactly as pictured. food was delicious in the restaurant, and the rooms were so luxurious! we were so comfortable and happy. a walk to the little town which can be hot in the heat of summer but is a great location, and a little bit further out for lovely peace and quiet. beach is just across the road with stunning coastline views - there was an inflatable playground nearby which was lots of fun for me and my sister (we’re grown ups haha). would love to come back and stay for longer. loved it"
