Welcome to Desert Mermaid; a thoughtfully designed private apartment / condo, built to provide you & yours amazing comfort during your visit to the Red Rocks!

A preferred location in West Sedona with easy & free parking that is walking distance to fine restaurants, art galleries, jeep rentals, and grocery stores. Soldier Pass, Sugarloaf, Airport Mesa (hikes) are just a quick 5 minute drive.

West Sedona gives you the best of all worlds: convenience without the hassle of Uptown traffic!

This amazing 1 BR / 1 Bath unit sits adjacent to The Awakening in Sedona; a wonderful and magical gallery and crystal shop where you will find everything you need to balance your chakras and reclaim that natural energy that you've been looking for! The unit has an incredibly comfortable king bed in the guest room and a sleeper sofa in the living room that pulls out into another queen bed. It has a full kitchen with a patio.

Nice place with some minor issues
My wife, daughter, and I stayed in this West Sedona condo. The accommodation is well appointed and super comfortable for three. Communication with the host was minimal, and while check-in was quite easy, we had to initiate communication on the day we arrived in Sedona. The condo was quite clean, but the pillows in the bedroom smelled a bit musty, and we used some of the extra pillows. We spent most of the time outside, but when we tried to use the smart TVs in the condo, they seemed to have some problem connecting to the Wifi. Overall, a very nice place with some minor issues.

Perfect location
Being new to VRBO, the reservation process was not clear and stressful. I was unaware inquiries to the host automatically reserves that property. To remove the reservation was not simple. VRBO support assisted with my reservation, but I was charged in British pounds. The property rental cost also went up while I was making inquiries about the property. Aside from the reservation nightmare, which was no fault of the hosts, the Desert Mermaid location was perfect for my visit. It was close to the “Y,” but just far enough from the weekend mob. The property was clean and quiet, except for the occasional heavy steps from the unit above. The hosts were responsive and provided all the necessary amenities; nice touch with the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! The bed was very comfortable – I am still trying to get Angus and Janine to share the mattress brand. When in the area again, I would not hesitate to stay at the Desert Mermaid.

The unit was clean, comfortable and well located in central Sedona, close to restaurants, grocery stores and trail shuttles. Our host was very attentive, checking in with us to make sure we had everything we required. The property was exactly as it appeared in the listing.

Wonderful stay!
We would highly recommend Desert Mermaid to anyone. Great communication and extremely clean. We personally did not utilize the kitchen however it would have everything you need, the bed was comfortable and the living space was a perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Angus’ little place in Sedona. The location was perfect and the home had everything we needed to be comfortable while there. We did have some issues with the lock but Angus arrived promptly to fix it and it was working fine when we left. I would highly recommend this great place to stay!

Easy to find, great location walking distance to great restaurants, grocery store, and trailheads. Spotlessly clean, roomy and well-appointed. The comfortable bed with blackout window coverings assures a great rest before starting the next day of adventures. Just out of the too-busy downtown Sedona area this gem of a property was better than advertised.

wonderful apartment located centrally in Sedona
We had a great time staying in the apartment. It was exactly as listed and had nice touches like automated blackout blinds in the bedroom. It was centrally located to all the restaurants and hikes we wanted to do. We would definitely stay there again!
