Want a place to unwind, relax, enjoy nature and experience tranquility, serenity and peacefulness? Experience what our guests are repeatedly saying about their stay! Once you arrive you will not want to leave! This small gem is a newly constructed cozy 2 bedroom cabin nestled at the end of a long private gravel road, surrounded by trees and gently rolling farmland. Your very own private retreat!

Inside you'll experience a spacious living area for relaxing, playing games, reading, watching tv. Many games and movies are provided for your enjoyment as well as free Wi-Fi. A fully equipped kitchen is ready for those who enjoy cooking their own meals.

Awake in the mornings and be greeted by wild deer grazing in the fields; birds singing; and geese relaxing by the pond. Take a walk and enjoy picturesque views of the surrounding hills, sunrises, sunsets, pond, birds and other wildlife. Sit back and relax in a rocking chair or in a swing on one of the porches. There are also benches around the pond where you can watch the fish jump as well as the sun rays glittering on the water. Catch and release fishing is permitted in the pond. Wrap up your day sitting around the large fire pit that has plenty of seating for everyone.

Sundance Acres is located in the heart of bourbon country. Only 6 miles from the Bluegrass Parkway; 19 miles from Bardstown; 8 miles to historic Bloomfield; and 5 miles to Chowning Lane Boat Ramp on Taylorsville Lake. Located just 41 miles to Lexington's Blue Grass Airport and 46 miles to Louisville International Airport.

Perfect getaway
This property is beautiful! Every inch of the home was tastefully decorated, well appointed, and made us feel like we were in our home. Perfect location for exploring all things bourbon and thoroughbred race horses. Lori Jo and Ricky were excellent hosts. We had a wonderful time exploring Kentucky and celebrating a 65th birthday. Perfect getaway!

True to the pictures, this cabin is the perfect place to stay. We loved everything about it, the secluded area, the pond, and the porches! There are so many little details the owners thought of to make our stay the best, we hope to go back!

Weekend Getaway
We had an amazing time! It was the perfect quiet weekend getaway. We spent the day exploring Bardstown and hiking with giants at Bermheim Forest. We used the firepit every night. The house was very clean and very well stocked. We would absolutely stay here again!

Home away from Home
The cabin is everything described in the listing. Very clean, inviting and well decorated. It was so peaceful sitting on the porch watching the wildlife and hearing the birds chirp while drinking your morning coffee. The owners were very nice and easy to work with. We would definitely recommend this cabin to friends and family. We were there exploring the Bourbon as a weekend getaway.

Amazing stay
My wife and I needed a break from the day to day, and this was a perfect get away. Easy access to the bourbon trail and wineries. Really enjoyed the quiet time. Property was well maintained, well stocked; all-around beautiful. Recommend this to anyone that just wants to get away and relax.

Perfect Bourbon Trail Location
This property is centrally located from Bardstown, Frankfort, & Lexington and made it easy to travel to the various distilleries. This property is secluded off the road and beautiful. The owners were an absolute pleasure and we hope to be back for a longer stay soon.

Lori Jo & Ricky were amazing hosts! The cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for the bourbon trail. The property was beautiful. Hidden Gem
The photos and description really don't do justice for this place. It was the perfect size and the perfect setting for what we were looking for. A quiet, secluded spot not too far from everything but remote enough to be peaceful and that's precisely what it was. It's perfectly situated between Bardstown and Frankfort, far enough from the road you hear zero road noise, and immaculate. Our hosts were fantastic as well. We definitely hope to be back!!

Perfect retreat for our 38th Anniversary
Beautiful place with serene surroundings! We wanted a quiet place to celebrate our anniversary and close enough to visit the distilleries. Loved sitting in the back porch and watch all the birds. Kitchen is stocked with all utensils you would need for cooking .

Perfect!
I'm not sure what could be done to improve this cozy cabin. The interior was clean and well designed so it felt open and spacious. There was also plenty of usable outdoor space, the grounds were well kept, and the area was quiet and peaceful. The hosts provided everything you would need for a wonderful stay.

A beautiful cabin
We had a wonderful 7-day stay. The location was perfect for us and the cabin was brand new and picture perfect. The kitchen was stocked with all of the essentials. The hosts were hospitable and it was a pleasure meeting them. Highly recommended! 10 stars out of 5!

Perfect Kentucky experience
I found this property while looking for a place to stay while we visited the Bourbon trail. The pictures online look gorgeous, I was so excited to be able to stay here and had high expectations. All of those expectations were met and exceeded. Hosts are wonderful, everything is easy and the place is amazing!! So clean, so thoughtfully decorated and supplied with everything you'd need. We ended up shortening our day trips because we were so excited to get back to the cabin and enjoy the peacefulness and beauty it provided. I hope to came back here someday and can't recommend this home enough!

Best Anniversary Trip!!
We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here at Sundance Acres and it was truly magical. The kitchen and cabin is stocked with every utensil you can think of/need, the home is very clean, beds are comfortable and the shower is AMAZING. Not to mention, the property this cabin sits on is everything you will need and more to unwind and relax. Truly your home away from home. Lori Jo and Ricky are great hosts and were very responsive and accommodating. We even ended up catching 13 fish before we left. Thank you Lori Jo and Ricky for sharing your little piece of heaven with us. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better getaway with our son to celebrate. We will be back again, very very soon.
