What a peaceful retreat! And close to everything near Sebastopol. Very clean property, inside and out. Donna was responsive to all messages & checked in to assure everything was fine. We will definitely be back!

Lovely time in Sebastopol
We had a very enjoyable stay at this property while visiting the Russian River Valley area. Donna was very responsive to our questions and was great to work with. We'd definitely stay here again!

Great place with everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. We enjoyed easy access to wineries, the Pacific ocean, forests and restaurants. The cottage is nice and well-stocked with essentials and helpful extras. Will recommend to others looking to stay in Sonoma County.

This place has a nice outdoor space and was nice and clean. However it feels very closed in. The largest windoes are opaque and frosted. space

Great stay
The Mod Podge was perfect for my stay in Sebastopol. It has everything you need and is so comfy. It’s a perfect location to explore Northern California and I can’t recommend it enough. Close to restaurants, wineries, hiking trails, and great little shops. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again on my next trip to California.

Nice Cottage In Sonoma
We found the location and accommodations perfect for a weekend of wine tasting. Great trail just in front of place allowed for a quick more walk/run. Hosts were great!

Lovely Little Lodge
Perfect size with all the amenities plus a fabulous new stone shower. Close to our daughters and our favorite winery, Merry Edwards! Red Car and Dutton are close and great too. I highly recommend this cute spot!

Clean, well-equipped, amazing location
We loved this little casita behind the owner's home. It was clean and quite roomy for two, well applianced and very comfortable. The location is terrific; it's nestled among the trees and private, and if you're lucky you can let the owls sing you to sleep. It's close and convenient to everything, yet feels very private.

We fell in love with Mod Podge Lodge when we saw it on line and we were not disappointed!! Very clean, homey and accommodating. We were visiting family but would have loved to have had time to enjoy the comfortable outdoor area with beautiful views. Definitely hope to be back again!

Charming Hideaway
The property is just lovely and very comfy and beautifully equipped. Very convenient to Sebastopol/Graton/Santa Rosa. Although I didn't indulge, it was lovely to be offered a cocktail. Fully supplied with bath/beauty products, cooking condiments and seasonings. The garden is lush and must be even more so when fruits are in season. All in all a terrific stay and I hope to return.

Adorable Country Cottage

Perfect California getaway!
Donna’s Mod Podge Lodge was the absolute perfect getaway for our visit to California Wine Country. The “lodge” was immaculate, with every amenity that anyone could possibly need. The location was wonderful, quiet and peaceful yet convenient to everything. We are already planning our 2023 visit and will be staying at the Mod Podge Lodge for sure!

A true gem!
This was on a quiet property on a private street. It was a perfect little oasis with nature and sounds of animals around. The garden offers fresh treats and a lovely space to relax. Donna offers the most thoughtful touches and a nice place to stay in Sebastopol.

Great place!
Beautiful place, nicely furnished, owners provided just about anything one could need. In addition, there are a lot of vegetables and fruit plants. I tried some tomatoes from the garden, and I have to say that I can't even remember the last time I had tomatoes so good and so tasty. Great job

What an adorable cottage! We loved the beautiful, private and peaceful location. The cottage and patio/garden was absolutely gorgeous. We slept so well on their comfy bed. At the end of a lane I found peace and quiet making a great escape from family after sitting around the table with family for 8 hours. The hosts were kind enough to call after I left reminding me of my cup and pointing out I had left the wrong key.

Relaxing stay in charming bungalow in Sebastopol
Everything about the property was as advertised, and the communication with Donna was prompt and clear. We truly enjoyed ourselves in this home where the amenities are plentiful, and we lacked for nothing. The yard provides a quiet oasis to sit outside to enjoy morning coffee/tea, and an evening cocktail or glass of local wine. The home is very comfortable, and we felt at home immediately. The location is perfect; just outside of the city center and in a quiet spot where you can easily access trails for walking, and roads for sightseeing around the area. Thank you!

good base location
We found the Mod Pod Lodge as described in the listing. It met our needs very well, which was to function as a base in the Sebastopol area while we visited with family. It has a very nice bathroom, a simple but very functional kitchen, comfy living area with large TV, and smallish but comfortable bedroom. It's not "a room with a view" but that's not what we were looking for on this trip. It was very private accommodations and worked very well for us. Oh, you are asked to take off your shoes on entering, a reasonable request.

Absolute Paradise
We were so happy at Mod Podge Lodge that we didn't want to leave. It felt more like staying at a friend's place than a rental. As many others have said, Donna has thought of everything. It was warm when we arrived and I said to my husband, "we are going to need a fan", and then there it was, tucked inside the front door. The setting is quiet and private, and we enjoyed many mornings and evenings on the patio. The cottage is exactly the right size for two people, with comfortable furnishings. The neighborhood is quiet and out-of-the-way, but still close to Sebastopol, wineries, and the coast. In case some of you are skeptical of the news that you pass a "warehouse" on the way in, it is actually a large, modern well maintained garage. We loaded up with delicious food from Andy's market, which is walking distance. We ate breakfast and some dinners at home, but spent all days exploring Sebastopol and the area. It was a wonderful vacation.
