A perfect treehouse
The accommodations were lovely and convenient. There are a few things that are easily walkable, including a bar, pizza place, and grocery store just a few blocks from the stay, and we experienced no traffic when we went into Seattle to sight-see. It was quiet, relaxing, and in a beautiful setting.

Nice But Noisy
Very well appointed and clean, but obvious issues with the entry doors and a noisy AC/heat unit should be fixed.

The property has an obviously broken front door, and a very loud mini-split unit (we wondered why there were ear plugs available) that kept the climate comfortable but noise was noticeable. Otherwise, very clean, well-appointed, easy to find, in a nice area, safe, and amenities close by.

I didn’t go there to work! But I should send them an invoice.
The location was good for our purposes. The place was the worst ABB place. We arrived late in the evening and the smoke detector was beeping because it needed batteries. I called Vacasa and asked that they have someone take care of it. Their response was look to see if there are batteries in the draw. I found some 9v. But the thing was too high to reach using a chair. I called back, they told me to go down to the garage and look for a ladder. I found a latter! Took it down and it didn’t use 9v. It’s late now I want to go to bed I’ve been traveling for 2 weeks. Other than that, the bathroom door didn’t close properly. The entrance door could be pushed in by a small child, the kitchen was not well supplied (not even salt and pepper) No suitcase stands. No stove! Not a good experience.

Pretty, BUT.....
TERRIBLE heat pump noise - vibrated on and off all night. Sounds like a Harley cranking up right outside the bedroom wall. Was told that is normal operating nose - BALONEY. I own several heat pumps and NONE of them make that noise. Shower backed up - was told to wait 3 days. When I fussed I was told that I would have to drop what I was doing an hour away and drive back to meet the plumber. Apparently no one else has a key (or is willing to do anything). LOTS of "light pollution" all building surrounding this place have BRIGHT automatic night lights that FILL the apartment with light even with the blinds closed. You can freely walk around inside at night with the lights off. Tried turning the porch light off - it kept coming back on. Management was terrible, did not return calls as promised. No more for me. VACASA was a pitiful un-needed layer of non-communication.

Poor Experience
This was my first experience with Vacasa and may be my last. Check-in is at 4 pm; we arrived at 4:15 pm and the space was still being cleaned. We were told the space would not be available for around another half hour. It was hot outside and we have an old dog along with evening plans so this was really frustrating and it made us late for our event. I was told by the Vacasa rep that I would get a call from the house manager within an hour. I expressed to the Vacasa rep that I would like some type of discount for this experience and they said they would send that to a supervisor. We checked-in at 5 pm and realized the space was not completely cleaned and we did not have any hand towels, washcloths, etc; we only had a Vacasa beach towel and a small white bath towel. I called the manager on duty since they did not call me back within the hour that I was told to expect a call. The manager apologized and said someone would be by soon to drop off linens. I let the manager know that I would be requesting a discount and the manager verbally approved a discount. No one ever came to drop off linens. The shower was not clean and had empty small shampoo containers in it. The kitchen area was not clean and had a very dirty hand towel left on the microwave. The bed is firm and comfortable for myself and my spouse. The apartment complex nearby has a very noisy air conditioning unit that was on throughout each night; it caused the space to vibrate would have a loud "thunk" when it turned off every 20-30 minutes. Not a good experience and terrible customer service.

Great location.
This is a nicely converted studio apartment over a garage in West Seattle. The craftsmanship of the remodel is well done and the bed and air conditioning are very comfortable. We loved the location which felt like a we were surrounded by cozy restaurants and shops which felt like we were in a small town. I would give it 5 stars but there is a mechanism in the garage, maybe the main house heater, that makes noise. It did not really bother us but it may bother some visitors. We were very happy with the place and will most likely stay there again next time we visit.

Comfortable, convenient & well appointed
We loved the location. The studio was updated, the bed comfortable and the kitchenette had everything we needed. The Bridge, just around the corner, perfect for brunch & drinks. Starbucks across the street. A washer & dryer would be a great addition to the space (there is a hookup but no appliances). Parking worked out most of the time. The listing states one parking spot in front of the property, but often it was unavailable. We would recommend the property. If you live West Seattle it’s a perfect spot!

Arrival was tedious; Parking is a challenge
Good with potential. The free early check in was misleading and the house was not clean even after arriving at allowed check in time (not early check in). Although credited for our cleaning fee it effectively cost us a whole evening. There are some little organizational changes in the house that would help. THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE IS THE PARKING. Free street parking right in front except for the parking is continually consumed by patrons of 3 PUBS in close proximity.

Quiet Stay Close to Amenities
For being so close to restaurants, a supermarket, and shopping, this studio felt quiet and secluded. There were lots of thoughtful touches, like extra k-cups for the machine and extra pet waste bags. The biggest security concern were the French doors, which could be opened even after being locked.

Lovely place with great natural lighting
The place was incredible and perfect for a getaway. However, there is a security issue. The front door can easily be pushed open despite being locked. I would love to stay here again if it gets fixed.

Not impressed
Received one medium size bath towel and four hand towels for two adults for six days. Repeated requests for more hand towels went unanswered. Kept our food in the refrigerator since there were ants in the kitchen. With fees included, room was close to $175 a night. I am sure you could do better elsewhere.

Wonderful studio but very noisy
The studio was immaculate with detailed attention to comfort—except for the very noisy heat pump which went on every 15 minutes for 3-4 minutes and sounded like a train coming through or a large semi-truck parking outside. The problem is that the pump itself is mounted on the exterior of the wall next to the bed—hard to sleep the first night. I almost cancelled the rest of the stay but did get used to it. My husband wasn’t kept awake though he agrees it was loud. We’d love to recommend the studio to friends if something can be done about the noise. Two other things just for your info: the outlets next to the sink don’t work and a manual for the dishwasher would have been helpful.

An elegant getaway.
A peaceful spot with privacy and quiet. Beautifully decorated and clearly newly built. But there is no stove, and the West Seattle bridge is closed which makes getting into and out of Seattle quite difficult. There was also no toaster but I did buy one and leave it behind. One main window has no blinds on it and it really should as car lights at night shine directly through it and onto the bed. But a wonderful little getaway all things considered. The family living in the house in front was very kind, welcoming and quiet.
