"A great all-around experience. Lot's of room to relax, a nice big kitchen with a breakfast bar, and all a stone's throw from Starved Rock. I loved the balcony off the bedroom and the jacuzzi. The Grand Bear lodge has a great bar as well. Great restaurant options between Utica, Peru and Ottawa, or venture over to the Starved Rock state park lodge restaurant."

"This well-appointed, clean, comfortable house was perfect for our week in LaSalle, IL...And less than 15 min. drive to both parks! Elaine has provided many amenities and it was a treat to return from long hiking days to a home with plenty of task lighting, good water pressure, plenty of hot water, and comfy furniture. We cooked two meals and had every kitchen item we needed. We also enjoyed spending time in the town of LaSalle which has a lot of history. I would definitely stay at this home...

Found no bakeware, or microwave ware, no measuring cups or spoons, only 4 forks and knives, 4 bowls, no strainer, no hand soap, garbage bags. Pots and pans that were there were dirty, all needed to be cleaned. The entire place was dirty, needs a deep cleaning.
