"Great shrt stay."

"We stayed at Saltwater over the Christmas period and was able to enjoy all that Shaldon has to offer at this time of year.Saltwater was a great property for the two of us. It is in an ideal position with its own parking (which is a must in the village), close to the centre and all the activity. It was an ideal size for us, spotlessly clean and decorated for Christmas for our arrival- which was a very nice touch.Thank you!"

"Amazing location, amazing house and huge dining table so we could all break bread together! Lovely amenities and washer and dryer were a dream. Only recommendation would be to add hairdryers (at least one) and games or books, at least playing cards. Beautiful stay and highly recommend Torquay Watersports for coastal explorer -90 min. "

"We stayed over NYE the house was absolutely beautiful. Home from home, rustic and tastefully decorated keeping the charm of the property. We stayed in most of the time cooking huge meals and the kitchen and dining area is perfect for that. Have already recommended it to a family member. Thank you. "

"Our entire family stayed here to celebrate a special birthday. We were very pleased with the farmhouse and the amount of space. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful. Kitchen was well equipped. Only reason we gave a 4 for cleanliness is because it was a little dusty (But expected due to it being a farmhouse!) Would recommend to all. "

"This a sizeable property and well placed for easy access to Beach, Town and shops. It has 5 bedrooms including a downstairs bedroom and en-suite. Some updating needed of facilities which has been fed back. However, this was a great success as it’s very hard to find suitable accommodation for people with mobility issues and I was staying with my parents who are 88 & 89 respectively. "What a house! We were a family of 13 and stayed over Christmas. It was just fantastic. The house is spacious, perfectly positioned in the village and has everything you could possibly want for a large family. We noted the comments about noise but it’s just the nature of a house with wooden floors and wasn’t an issue for us. "the property is as the Vrbo description The beds were so comfortable. just to make people aware the property is not fully enclosed as if you have inquisitive dogs as mine are they can get into the wood at the side of the garden over a muddy stream then onto a road and leading to fields with livestock in. The garden is a wonderful size for doge to run around in and the outside hose is a great edition to wash down your pets as we had to do on many occasions. We were visited by a deer one morning...

"The owners were friendly, and attentive, but the property I felt was too expensive for what it was, there was no shower gel or anything in the bathrooms. There wasn’t a bin bin bag to collect rubbish. There were cobwebs and number of Rooms the black leather sofa was old and worn out and not very comfortable so although the setting was nice it did look like somewhere that the owners were trying to get out of as they told us there were selling up.
