"Julie my wife and I stayed at kates farm for three nights for a break and a rest, we had a great break and we are totally rested. Fantastic break, Julie and Kate walking dogs every morning and evening, I kept the real fire going and that was perfect for us to sit down next to in the evening. Others said the breakfast was great and they are correct, Kates breakfast was fantastic .Kate was very attentive at all times and we felt perfectly at home."

"Had 3 lovely days at Brooksyde. A very comfortable house, a home form home seaside retreat. A great base to visit Lyme Regis, Sidmouth etc. Beer is a really lovely little village with a few independent shops and restaurants. The voucher for the next door shop was a nice surprise. "We were a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 kids under seven and one grandparent) and we stayed at Purley for three nights. The property is well sized and sparingly but tastefully furnished. The kitchen has lots of kids crockery but the board games are ancient or have bits missing so bring your own. The outdoor space at the back needs some love and isn’t very child friendly (brambles, steep uneven steps) but we didn’t spend much time there as the beach is 5 mins walk away. "Unfortunately property was not as advertised The condition it is in is awful We are told it is being addressed but it should of been sorted months ago We were also told a professional cleaning company had been in before we arrived, this definitely wasn’t the case. As our stay was over the new year we paid a lot for this run down, tired, dusty property"

"Cottage was charming and as described and perfect for what we needed. Owner had left a Christmas tree out so that was appreciated. Parking space a little tight (we had a Small van) - but no problems parking elsewhere. A friendly criticism - 9am (Covid restrictions or not) is not a reasonable time to expect people to check out. 10 is minimum/standard."
