We include the use of 6 seasonal Ortley Beach Badges with your reservation. The house is a 14 minute walk to the beach at Ortley Beach and a 3 mile car ride or 22 minute walk to the start of the Seaside Heights boardwalk. The upstairs closet has beach chairs, overnight crab trap, fishing pole and gear. There is also an umbrella for use on the table on the back deck. There is a grill in the back yard.
House Rules:
This property gives you direct access to the Bay. We provide a 20" Life Preserver Ring with a 98' rope, and a ladder secured to the bulkhead to easily get in and out of the water.
- Tenants will use the Bay at their own risk.
- Tenants and guests who can’t swim need to be supervised.
- All children who enter the Bay must be supervised at all times.
- Tenants must inform the landlord immediately in case of a safety or maintenance issue related to the bulkhead or dock.
- Tenants assume responsibility to supervise all of their guests. “Guests” refers to any property visitors whether they have been directly invited or not.
- Tenants should use the grill at their own risk, and only operate the grill on the ground, and not on the wood deck on inside the home. All burners should be turned to the off position and the gas tank valve should also be turned off after every use.
- Reservations include the use of 6 seasonal beach badges. Guests are responsible for all 6 beach badges and a replacement fee of $75 will be charged for each lost beach badge.
- The use of the inflatable floats/rafts/devices is prohibited due to liability issues.
