Cozy 2 Story 2 bedroom 2 bath condo around 700 sqf each floor with patio and bbq grill. Just renovated and half a block from the beach. Master bedroom with own bathroom. Hardwood floor. Washer and dryer in the premise. Balcony in the terrace. House includes 2 BR and 2 BA. One bedroom has one queen bed and closet. Second bedroom 2 twin beds and closet. In the LR 1 sofa bed for 2 plus an additional couch. Full kitchen with granite kitchen counter-top, SS appliances, wall to wall tiles. One minute walk to Seaside Heights Beach and Boardwalk. Walking distance to nightlife and local bars. We have added window AC unit in each BR and window AC unit in LR.

We liked that it had 2 bathrooms. It was fairly clean. I cleaned the bathroom vent with a broom to release what appeared to be condensation dripping on my head. It was clogged with “dust bunnies”. Then the condensation disappeared. I also cleaned the AC filter. We enjoyed staying here and happy to be so close to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The location is great. Close and easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. The place was neat and clean. Id recommend it and would love to go back next summer.

I’ll start by saying this property is in a great location, and it was clean. However, I don’t think it’s appropriate to request that renters put their dirty used toilet paper in a waste paper basket rather than flush it down the toilet like normal. This was not something that was communicated to us prior to showing up, instead on arrival we discovered signs posted behind each toilet that said “please do not place toilet paper in toilet”. If you ask me, properly working plumbing is a basic hygiene expectation, and at the price we paid I definitely didn’t expect to find plumbing problems. On top of this, aspects of the property were misrepresented. On the listing we were promised use of a private outdoor space/deck. When we arrived, we found the deck “closed for construction/unstable”. The owner had made no effort to contact us or warn us about this issue beforehand, let alone offer any rebate on the price we agreed to pay when we thought we’d be able to use it during our vacation — a factor that definitely played into our decision to stay here to begin with. We did have the use of the shared patio, but a shared space is not what we were looking for and not what we felt we paid for. Lastly, in the back of the upstairs loft there is a wall unit A/C that drips condensation, at times almost enough to fill a 5 gallon bucket in less than a day. The owner had a bucket under where it was dripping, but neglected to warn us about it and because of its location all the way at the back of the loft my husband and I almost missed it entirely. The only reason we found it was because we followed a dripping noise we heard from downstairs. We ended up having to empty this 5 gallon bucket 1-2 times daily, and if we hadn’t found it there would have been potentially damage to the unit from all the water. I didn’t mind necessarily helping empty the bucket, just that the owner did not tell us about it and it was only by chance that we discovered it. A heads up would have been nice.

Overall the experience was good. Place was clean and in a great location for accessing the beach and boardwalk. One huge turn off for me and my family was the discovery of a sign in the bathroom saying "Please do not put toilet paper in the toilet". Not sure what to make of it, I reached out to the owner and sure enough, he said to please place the toilet paper in to the small trash can on the bathroom. The owner should have been up front in the property add and disclosed this ahead of time. At almost $3000 for a week, you should expect fully operational facilities. He REALLY should make the repairs needed for the septic problem. SCE July 2021
