Lori and Gin were wonderful! The place is gorgeous and we cannot wait to stay there again! Lori met us in the driveway and gave us a tour and some of the history of the home which made the stay much more personable.

I loved staying in a home built in 1850 by a Captain who earned his living from the sea while surrounded by an economy supported by the sea. The hosts and guests were marvelous and interesting to meet. Everything was perfect including the location ... easily going north to Bar Habor and south to other attractions.

I cannot say enough great things about this location and the service! The space is beautiful and well maintained. The views are wonderful and the amenities are top notch. Our family’s stay at Captain Sweetser’s Inn was wonderful. We were kindly welcomed upon arrival and given a tour of the historic mansion. Our room was immaculately clean, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. Our 13-year-old still raves about the breakfast. And the view of the bay from the beautifully maintained property grounds is excellent.
