Perched on the front row of the blufftop - with an entire wall of windows with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, a redwood deck, and a large hot tub – where else would you want to be other than this wonderful Sea Ranch vacation home? But wait, there is more: the home now is 100% solar-powered, with 31 state-of-the-art rooftop solar panels, a new heat pump system (which includes central air conditioning as well as heat), and a new hybrid water heater! There also is a Level 2 (40 AMP) “JuiceBox'' Electric Vehicle charging station at the home, with a 25 foot long charging cable, available for your private use to charge your EV seven times faster than from a standard wall plug. It uses the J1772 universal charging standard, so Tesla drivers should remember to bring the small adaptor provided by Tesla. The home was remodeled in January 2022 with beautiful new Quartzite countertops, the cupboard doors were refinished, and new sinks and fixtures were installed throughout.

This two-bedroom, two-bathroom Sea Ranch retreat offers the perfect relaxing space for a couples' weekend. If you want to get in a bit of exercise during your stay, you can walk the breathtaking Bluff Trail, which is situated only a 10-second walk from your oceanfront door. You also can do a few laps in the nearby large, heated swimming pool (40 feet x 82 feet), or play a few games of tennis at the nearby tennis courts. Both the swimming pool and the tennis courts are located in the Del Mar Recreation Center, which is only a five-minute walk from the front door of Seascape and also offers saunas in which to relax and unwind.

It may be tough to pull yourself away from the hot tub, which is situated in the private, enclosed, wind-protected courtyard with a view of the ocean and made cozy with greenery from the nearby courtyard garden. The living room is drenched in sunlight from the vertical grain fir floors to the vaulted ceilings and has an expansive view of the ocean. A long ocean facing wall of large windows flood tons of natural light into the living and dining areas. Complimentary high-speed (1 Gigabyte) fiber-optic WiFi is also provided to keep you connected to friends and family. Additional WiFi nodes also have been installed to extend fast WiFi throughout the home and the enclosed courtyard. Telephone service (VOIP) is included as well, with free long distance calling within the continental United States (excluding Alaska and Puerto Rico).

When the sun goes down, come inside to the sofas in the living room and warm up by throwing a couple of logs onto the living room fireplace. The master bedroom has its own separate wood-burning fireplace. In the morning, fix a breakfast with in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with an electric range and dishwasher. Share snacks around the dining table, which faces out onto the ocean view.

In each of the two bedrooms, you'll find a king-size bed. Each of the bedrooms has its own television, and a third television is viewable from the living room and dining room. All three TVs are connected to a DVR, linked to DISH Network and its package of more than 190 television channels plus additional satellite radio channels. Streaming via Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Netflix (the Premium Ultra HD package) all are available for free on all three TVs. A DVD player is provided to play any DVDs you may have. There also are several classic DVD movies on the shelf underneath the living room TV. A ROKU Ultra Player also is provided to facilitate your connections with various streaming platforms.

Head out for a day at the Sea Ranch Golf Links, just over a mile from your door. Visit Trinks Cafe in Gualala, roughly three miles away, for a bite to eat before stocking up on wine and snacks at the Surf Market. You can walk along the Blufftop Trail to Gualala Point Regional Park to the north or all the way to Black Point Beach to the south. Annapolis Winery is less than a 10-mile drive for an afternoon picnic and wine tasting. Mendocino just 51 miles north is a great day trip for a stroll of a friendly coastal town. However, you may find that you spend most of your time relaxing in the hot tub or wandering the picturesque Blufftop Trail, just steps from your door. A washer and dryer are provided for your exclusive use will make it easy for you to keep your wardrobe fresh and clean.

This Sea Ranch oceanfront blufftop house will be your new favorite place to escape with your friends and loved ones! Note: the home is 30 years old and is rustic - we reject the term “tired” used by a couple of renters. We have installed numerous amenities to make your stay more enjoyable. We recently have remodeled but do not plan to do any further major remodeling. If you want brand new, this is not the place for you, and we respectfully suggest you look at some other home that is better suited to your expectations.

View was spectacular ! House needs some love. The big disappointment was the hot tub. The jets don’t work. But nonetheless the water was hot. The bluff walk was right out the door, a great walking trail. And the sunsets were stunning!

Relaxing Ocean View
The view can't be topped from the family room out to the grand Pacific ocean view. This property is very close to the golf course and a short drive to Gualala for any supplies you might need. There's a walking trail close behind the home for your daily walks.Internet wi-fi speeds were between 400-500mbps. Dish Network was the satellite provider and there were a host of Apps (Netflix, etc.) available.

Stunning views, very clean but a little dated
This was a great location with the entire back of the home nothing but windows. It was great to just sit on the couch and look at the ocean since at times it was a bit cold. Beds were quite comfortable. There are some things that could be updated like the microwave and the spa did not have good jets. There was a bit of an ant problem, but nothing terrible. This would be a great stay for two couples since the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the home and both have king beds. The bedroom furniture is on its last legs but was fine for our stay.

Amazing home and location - incredible value!
We absolutely loved this home and can't wait to return. This was our first stay at Sea Ranch and now I feel like staying in another home would almost be a letdown. The architecture is beautiful, the view is stunning, and the location is first-rate. The home is a little worn, so if you require "fancy" accommodations this may not be an exact fit, but I say this place is still all-around astounding. If the owners ever want to sell, please contact me! :)

Sea Ranch is my paradise
The Levy House represents for me paradise on earth. The view of the ocean, it’s proximity to the swimming pool, the layout of the house and the beautiful trails for our daily walks were the reasons making our stay a total success. The staff at Vacasa/VRBO was fantastic as well. We had a problem with the house initially reserved and was promptly moved to the Levy House. Thank you for all the help moving and making us comfortable

Concerns
Not super happy with unit due to no porch and missing one of the two outside chairs, no hot water upon arrival, one door to outside out of order and the other door blind would not roll up to exit, and ants. Although Vacasa was super responsive in correcting issues. Owner needs to look at all house issues, other than what is mentioned.

You cannot beat the view of the ocean from this house. While it is true that the house is in need of a lot of updating, it doesn't matter because look out the windows --spectacular! This is our third time staying here; we'll be back. (All that said, a fresh coat of paint, new towels, and a new dishwasher would work wonders.)

Great location but no deck/patio on oven side
Great view of ocean. Easy access to ocean bluff trail. Plenty of room. However, there were funky stairs and one cheap chair on ocean side. Other homes had nice decks and patios on the ocean side. Interior courtyard with table and chairs and hot tub. Temp of hot tub great, but jets were weak. Don’t leave open food on counter, ants attacked our baked goodies. Living room TV small. Kitchen cabinets could use an upgrade That said it was a comfortable and relaxing getaway in a beautiful area.

Showing its age but a beautiful place nonetheless
This is a gorgeous place, although it’s a little run down. Not dirty, just obviously worn down a bit. The place has great views plus direct access to the coastal trail in a quiet part of the world. A few things to know going in: There is some rot on the steps in the back outdoor area that could be a little dangerous for kids. Especially with splinters. There are no blinds in the bedrooms, so if you’re sensitive to light, expect to get up at dawn. The music player is broken so we just played music from our laptop. A sliding door in the back is inoperable. Fortunately there are two sliding doors for the back access so you don’t need it but it would have been nice to have that door open with the screen so we could hear the ocean. So yeah, overall a nice place. You will have a great vacation here as we did, just expect a little west and tear.

House with a view
The house was great, could definitely use some upgrades and love. House is a little old but the property management team was responsive, we didn’t have enough towels and they dropped some off right away when we notified them. Beds were surprisingly great and the view just couldn’t be beat. Be sure to bring everything you might need- had lots of pans, glasses, cookware but they don’t supply coffee filters, foil, etc.

Tranquility at Sea Ranch
As was rated above the setting of the house and architecture are outstanding. In contrast, maintenance of the house has been neglected, it seems, for a long time. Reading the existing reviews it was obvious that some but most concerns were not addressed, including broken outside chairs, broken t.v. table, and very old pots and pans. It was a good thing that we brought pre cooked meals and our own frying pan. The value of this house is in the setting.

Million dollar view
The home is nicely laid out with lots of windows and light. It’s nice to have the hot tub on the enclosed deck both for privacy and helps protect from the weather. The master bed was very comfortable. The kitchen is well supplied with dishes, glasses, pots, etc. Things to improve would be the kitchen cabinet doors, particularly under the sink, need to have the hinges tightened. There are only 3 dining chairs so 2 couples would be missing one. Still the overall experience was wonderful and the view is spectacular! We would stay again.

Spectacular views
Great location, amazing views. Downside: there was not a functioning electrical outlet in either bathroom. To enjoy watching tv from the couches you had to move the tv cart which has a broken wheel. The bed in the master bedroom was not as comfortable as expected. There also isn’t any pantry storage for non refrigerator items. Nothing beats floor to ceiling windows with views of the crashing waves. That is this properties redeeming quality. My daughter and I enjoyed our time at this property even though the weather was uncooperative, restricted our ability to explore more. It is worth staying at this location.

Great Location on the Bluff Trail
I love being on the Bluff Trail to just walk out and start hiking along the ocean cliffs. There are pros and cons to this house but for a short vacation, it's perfect! i would stay here again only because it's on the Bluff Trail. The pros are: being on the bluff trail; the layout of the house with all the windows along the wall towards the ocean and along the wall to the deck; plenty of kitchen pots, pans, knives, cutlery, dishware, glassware and other cooking equipment; the hot tub and extra towels for the hot tub; the 220 electric charger for EVs. We loved sitting on the couches and staring out at the ocean! The cons are: the small kitchen table and only four chairs that can only hold the table settings with no space for food; the slider to the deck from near the washer/dryer doesn't lock but you can lock the "front" door to the deck; it takes a while for the hot water to reach the Primary Shower; the screen came off one of the tracks on one of the ocean facing sliding doors which we had a hard time putting back on the track; the four chairs were very wobbly and one was missing screws; there was a dish drainer but no water catcher underneath for the washed items to drain into the sink so we balanced the dish drainer on an upside down pot in one of the two sinks since it didn't fit in the sink; there was a sponge but no scrubber.; ants showed up on the counter where we had placed our pastries. The men in our party tightened the chair screws with tools they had in their car but we had to be mindful of the chair that was missing screws. We brought our own card table to work on a puzzle but had to carry chairs back and forth from where we ate to where we did the puzzle. our guys bought a plastic scrubber and ant traps and by moving the food we avoided any more ant overruns.

Great Location
This home has a number of important pros: perfect location close to the edge of the cliffs with unobstructed views of the ocean from a wall of windows; two ample bedrooms on opposite sides of the home with king beds and lots of privacy, fenced in private back patio with a hot tub, and a living room with two very comfortable extra long couches. The cons: a little maintenance would make a big difference: two sliding glass doors do not lock so did not feel totally safe, one or two of the dining chairs feel unstable like they need regluing and the walls could use repainting. Some updating would make the stay more enjoyable: the pillows need replacing in the guest bedroom for sure and the living room TV is inadequate in size and location for an enjoyable evening of entertainment with family and friends. There are TVs in each bedroom. but we wanted a family group entertainment experience. Other than these things, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed being so close to the ocean. There is a beautiful beach walking south on the ocean path.

Great location but needs renovation.
The property is comfortable but feels worn out and in need of renovation. The decor and audio visual equipment is dated and needs to be replaced. The deck is worn and slightly unstable. Also, there are cobwebs everywhere; door jams, cabinets and fireplaces. The property could use a thorough dusting. The location and view however, are spectacular.

It's About the View
Location, location, location!!! We have stayed at the Sea Ranch many times over the last 20 years, and have rented more than 10 homes in that time. We have never been as close to the water as we were at Seascape. The virtually 180 degree water views from the living room wall of glass was spellbinding. We enjoyed the very close proximity to the bluff trail and took several long walks, but we felt so fortunate to return to the view from this house after our hikes. We could hardly take our eyes off the water as we waited for the next whale sighting. It was a challenge to read or cook or do anything but watch the waves during daylight hours. Seascape is perfect for two couples and finding a home at The Sea Ranch with two king beds is not easy to do. The home is not perfect (I've never stayed at a vacaction rental property that was), but has most anything one could need for a stay on the Sonoma coast. It's a little bit lived in, and could use a bit of TLC, but I really have no complaints. The positives of this home far outweigh any negatives. I would advise bringing a a few decent pans and knives if you intend to do much cooking. The kitchen appliances are newer and work well. The beds and living room furniture are comfortable. Note: there is no grill, and the TVs are small (we did not watch any TV; the ocean view is far more entertaining than anything we could've found on TV). Five enthuisatic stars!
