The weather was cold and snowy. It was beautiful. It felt like we were inside a snow globe during our stay. It was only 8 minutes from our family which made it very convenient. We usually make MI our summer vacation but after this stay we are thinking of adding a winter trip. This was a wonderful winter retreat."

"We did a winter stay due to family events occurring in January. Because the grandkids are from the south, they never get to experience snow or a frozen lake. It was beautiful views for them to enjoy out of the windows and seeing ice fisherman was a real treat for everyone.There were plenty of beds for everyone and we had no issues with having an infant. "We had a fun weekend at the house celebrating my mom's 80th birthday. There is plenty of room and something for everyone to do. The pool area is great, and the grandkids had a blast. I would recommend staying at the house, especially for large groups and kids/teenagers. "
