We live on 10 acres. We have pastures of horses and chickens. It is a peaceful and serene area that is very close to the city of Lafayette. We are 3 miles from I-10 and 8 miles to I-49. There are lots of great restaurants and areas to visit.

Beautiful country setting
Waking to roosters crowing, horses running and beautiful sunrise was a treat! Friendly host stopped by to chat while we were arriving to be sure everything was in order. Easy to find and close to everything!

Absolutely beautiful
The property was absolutely beautiful. We made friends with a few of the animals. The property owners are so sweet and accommodating. If we get back to the area we would definitely be staying there again: it was so hard to leave.

Perfect stay!! Such a comfortable place. Perfect for the 2 of us. We met our hosts and they were so hospitable and helpful. We got the quiet of country living within minutes to town! We hope to visit again!!

We needed a night away from the kids and this place was so quaint and cute! Surrounded by pastures of horses and chickens. It was a nice change of scenery for us! Owners were so kind and welcoming!

The cleanliness of the Coop was second to none. We had everything we needed and the location was convenient to Lafayette where you could find lots of restaurant and shopping choices. We wanted to enjoy Mardi Gras festivities in the local areas of Eunice and Mamou without staying in town. This place was perfect. I felt right at home with all the chickens. Highly recommended!

SUPER CUTE!
We had a wonderful experience at "The Coop". It served our needs perfectly. Everything in it was well thought out. Even with 3 people, we did just fine with the space. The host/hostess are the greatest! I can't say enough good things about our experience!

Perfect stay
I clean short term rentals so I'm kinda picky. This little "house" was spotless! Very comfortable and perfectly located between all of the antique stores and restaurants we came down to visit. Owners were super friendly and gave us info on the hot eating places around. The house was stocked with everything you would need. I don't know what they put in their laundry but the towels and blankets smelled amazing. We had no complaints at all!

Peaceful Coop
The little Coop just outside of Lafayette was exactly as pictured. The cabin was super clean and perfectly comfortable. The kitchen and bath were stocked with everything needed for a short stay and the location was convenient to Lafayette and the surrounding areas. We expected the roosters to wake us up early, but oddly enough, we didn't hear a peep out of them! The Coop is in a super quiet location with a beautiful view of horses in their pastures. Had the weather been anything but sweltering, we would have enjoyed sitting on the front porch and having a glass of wine in the evening. The owners were super nice people and easy to communicate with. Billy's Boudin, Davis Seafood and The Coffee Depot all a very short driving distance and all recommended! Overall.....much better than staying in a motel!

Always an adventure!
Sometimes things don’t go as planned. The owners were replacing a hot water tank while we were en route, which they communicated with us and we knew. It didn’t end up being completed in time for us on the night we checked in (issues outside their control). LUCKILY, there was another space available for us right on their property. While we didn’t end up being able to stay in the Coop, we did get to go in and see and it was just as adorable as the pictures. The space we stayed in was slightly smaller, but worked out well for us. The owners were very sweet, communicative and accommodating. Even though it didn’t quite work out as planned, we would not hesitate to book with them again! The location was perfect-just enough outside town to feel like you’re in the country but close enough to everything and everywhere we needed/wanted to go.
