"Lovely well appointed room with interesting art pieces. The staff is amazing. Views are amazing. Little hard to find, but parking was just around the corner. Ask for directions ahead of time..there are few tricks to getting there. Great place to stay!"

"The property is in an amazing town with much history. The biggest problem is access. We made reservations five months before we arrived and at that time we requested a room on a lower floor, knowing the topography of the town and that some rooms had many steps. My wife and I are not kids but when we arrived, after not being met at the train station as promised we had to carry our bags up about 75-100 steps to our room. "I stayed here for a weekend because my friends wedding reception was nearby. The place is beautiful. Maria and her husband are the sweetest! I don’t speak Italian but we were able to communicate very well. They make you feel like you are their family. I felt so safe and if I am ever back in Sicily I would stay here again. "Great relaxing holiday we cooked ourselves prefer than eating in the same restaurant every day Didn't no about extra costs like water and electricity charge so that was a bit of a problem but that was the booking company's fault not the hotel We would go back there"

"We stayed at this hotel in late September. All the staff were welcoming and courteous and the facilities just what we needed for a quiet stay as a couple. Everything was very clean, food was varied and it was just the location we were looking for. "Brilliant location for Ragusa Ilba, loved wandering around exploring in the evenings. Checked in at at Hotel Barroca where the staff were wonderfully helpful and breakfast magnificent. We were perhaps expecting the studio apartment to be somewhat more characterful, with tiles and stone walls, however it was perfectly delightful."

"Carmela couldn't have been a better host - she went above and beyond to provide information and additional amenities to cater for our group (eg. providing advice and a microwave for one of our babies with allergies). The units were spotless and the pool was regularly cleaned (Carmela's husband did this so they were there semi-regularly). There was a technical fault with some of the air-con units but Carmela did everything to rectify it. They also left us local vegetables which were delicious!...

"From the detailed emailed directions through the labyrinth of Ibla to the beautiful room and abundant breakfast this little gem lacked gor nothing. Staff is exceptionally kind. I felt more like a guest in someone's exquisitely updated but historical home."

"This hotel is perched above the town and has a beautiful garden filled with fruit trees, and views of the duomo, town and valley. It's a lovely, quiet place and it even has parking about 5 minutes up the hill, which is impossible to find in Ragusa Ibla. The staff are very gracious, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was so quiet, and the bed was very comfortable with a mattress topper. We highly recommend it. "

"Easy to find. Parking is on the street nearby, we didnt have to pay but i would think in busier times the free parking would fill up then you would have to park in pay zone. Nice bright room. Good breakfast included. Close to centre of town but far enough away to be quiet."

"The staff was so wonderful and warm to (Jaime Melo and Sal and Nonno Baglieri) special gratitude to Ritonela Federico and Biagio. They helped beyond expectation to all our needs. Changing of room was done immediately and smoothly. We all felt so welcomed and would promote this great Family resort to everyone who appreciates peace and quiet and amazing staff. Breakfast was an abundance of great fresh food and baked goods, all that one would expect and some. Us Canadians are so grateful. Thank you fresh"
