"Good location, friendly staff, great breakfast. Hotel website is misleading - we booked Deluxe room but was allocated room 904 which is indicated on website as cheaper Superior room, there was no view of St Matthew hill as claimed, the room was noisy (ac/heating and next door shower) not silent as claimed. Laundry service was also not available over the Easter holiday weekend. En-suite had wc flush leak and damaged shower enclosure that were not fixed during our stay. Issues were raised but...

"This house is perfect for a lovely beach holiday. It is very near the sea and the promenade which has good cafes and is lively and good fun in the evening. The house itself is quiet and calm. It has all the amenities needed for comfortable living and for going to the beach including beach chairs, sunshades etc It is cool inside and there are quiet, effective fans. There is a very nice balcony for eating meals and watching the world go by (slowly)."

"My wife and I had a simply perfect 10 day stay in this lovely apartment. Stefania and her mother do a truly professional service with every little thing thought of and provided, and immediate assistance offered when needed. Some might consider the bathroom compact, but then this was not a consideration when this amazing building was constructed a few hundred years ago, and the other rooms and furnishings are entirely in keeping with making us feel like the baron and baroness in our own palazzo....
