"The villa was perfect for us - a family of 4 adults and 2 kids (age 3 and 5). We stayed with our little ones in the main house, with two comfortable double rooms, two shower rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, laundry facilities (essential for us), and a good-sized living room. Grandma and Grandad stayed in the little house by the pool, which was ideal for them. The outside space was the best bit - a big patio area with a large outdoor table, a charcoal grill, some shade, and a lovely pool with views over the coast and the sea. The garden has a swing and slide for the children, beautiful trees and flowers, and the kids enjoyed spotting lizards, wild cats and kittens. Angelo and Concetta looked after us very well when we couldn’t get the gate open, and when the hot water wasn’t working - they were quick to come and help, and kindly gave us some delicious biscotti too. There was plenty of parking space. The location is great, as long as you have a car - just 10 minutes from beautiful Scicli, with its variety of restaurants, cafes, bars, museums and galleries. The historical centre is stunning - deserving of its heritage status. We were also well-located to travel to Ragusa and Syracuse for day trips, and enjoyed a couple of brilliant local beaches (Sampieri being our favourite). Overall, this is a lovely villa, perfect for our family, in a great location, with friendly, helpful hosts. I’m sure we’ll visit again!"

"Chiara is an exceptional host, easy to contact and had lots of great tips on where to go. You do need a car to visit all the wonderful towns and beaches nearby. I wish we had stayed longer as we couldn’t fit everything into one week. We particularly liked Noto, Ragusa and Marina Di Ragusa for the beach. The nearest town Sciciliis a fantastic place to eat in the evening as it is only a 12 minute drive and has so many good restaurants. The pool is really a plunge pool but good enough for cooling off. The views from the front patio is amazing"

"The property was perfect for a family of 6. The kitchen was perfect for cooking all meals. The swimming pool and bbq area fantastic. A very peaceful area and highly recommend visits to Donnalucata and our favourites Scicili, Monica and Ragusa. All a max of 20 mins away. A great host and great place to stay!"

"Carmela couldn't have been a better host - she went above and beyond to provide information and additional amenities to cater for our group (eg. providing advice and a microwave for one of our babies with allergies). The units were spotless and the pool was regularly cleaned (Carmela's husband did this so they were there semi-regularly). There was a technical fault with some of the air-con units but Carmela did everything to rectify it. They also left us local vegetables which were delicious! We'd return!"

"A marvelous location from which to explore south east Sicily. Exceptionally beautiful villa that is comfortable, clean and well appointed with a spacious garden and fabulous pool. The view down to the coast is stunning and the location peaceful. The owners live next door and are friendly, helpful, informative and kind, making this an exceptional holiday. "Recomendación “Villa Memoria del Acua”-Melina Conti Después de nuestro viaje Familiar y estar en “ La Villa La Memoria del Agua “ sólo puedo albergar un sentimiento: mi absoluta declaración de amor por Sicilia Posiblemente no exista el lugar perfecto para pasar unas vacaciones. Su localización frente al Mar Mediterráneo en la isla de Sicilia, donnalucata. Al llegar al lugar nuestra hospedera, Melina, nos hizo una cálida recibida y estuvo presente para guiarnos por todas las amenidades. De la Villa y cómo usar apropiadamente todos los recursos disponibles, no solo en la casa sino en la comunidad, la Villa estuvo mejor de lo esperado, la decoración , las habitaciones climatizadas, las cocinas, si no ha entendido bien si hay dos cocinas completamente equipadas para poder alojar una gran reunión familiar, el barbecue, la piscina, pero lo mas bello de todo es su salida directamente al Mar Mediterráneo, azul turquesa de aguas transparentes, salpicados de unas olas que hacen la experiencia muy divertida. Además está el encanto que envuelve cualquier pueblo, el camino entre olivos al Mediterráneo, cada matiz que podamos observar en las cosas que ofrece la seductora visualidad de la Villa, donde uno encuentra matices de la historia de Sicilia, el mar, la pesca, el arte medieval, la religión o la simple vida cotidiana de los sicilianos. Melina tuvo a nuestra disposicion juegos de arena y lo mejor de todo la pelota de soccer que hizo nuestra experiencia aún más divertida. Gracies"
