"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Alvise’s country cottage! He was incredibly friendly and helpful as a host. The location has a beautiful view and lots of privacy, which was more than worth the price. We were able to get some much needed rest and visit the surrounding sites, such as Cefalù, with ease. We would definitely return given the chance."

"Séjour décevant dans cet appartement qui paraissait splendide sur les photos. Accueil expéditif, équipement pauvre, appartement sale, impossible de prendre une douche chaude de plus de 5 mns, aucun code wifi, lit supplémentaire qui n’est rien d’autre qu’une chauffeuse. Bref, pas grand chose à garder mis à part l’emplacement et la vue de la terrasse, splendide."

Host Rosalba has thought of everything. In addition to kitchenette/dining area, there's even a washing machine and drying rack. Easy check-in and check-out. "We had a wonderful stay here.. the house was very clean & modern with everything we needed.. with lots of outdoor areas & various seating to follow the sun around, which is a lovely touch. Beautiful clean shared pool with plenty of loungers. Excellent host Nicola who was very attentive & helpful. Definitely a car is a must here.. the nearest beach Blue Bay is divine, pebbly & rocky but so pretty. Thank you for a great holiday Nicola!"

"The apartment was very clean and right on the water. It was truly beautiful. When we booked this apartment was not available, but we stayed in another spot in the same property. It was just as nice, though I question if it was a little smaller. The manager of the apartment was very kind and very attentive. Gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. The area of beach next to the apartment is beautiful, but the general location (outside of the apartment complex) is somewhat dirty....

"This place is one of a kind. Shaped by architects and artists, there is something to delight on every side. The most prominent feature is the huge garden filled with edible plants and trees. There are two spacious tables, one of them in a magical hidden corner. The kitchen is fully equipped to make any mean you fancy. Every bedroom is different in furnishings. the location is near a delightful town square off the beaten track. We cannot speak too highly of this Sicilian gem."

"The house: 5* Attractive house, three exceptionally clean bathrooms and good, hot, strong showers. Well equipped kitchen (including dishwasher, microwave coffee machine, freezer). All the bedrooms had working aircon. Outdoor space with a huge dining table, in addition to lounge chairs and table tennis table (all equipment provided). Salvatore and his parents prepare the property beautifully - welcome pack of food and water, wine in fridge. Anti-mosquito plug-ins provided throughout house....

"We was have great time in villa, absolutely amazing view. Salvatore was living up stairs but we don't hear him at all,he was look after garden and pool very early so don't disturb us. "We really enjoyed our stay. The villa has great outdoor space including seating, sunbeds, barbecue and a private pool (well kept by Salvatore) - short walk to beaches for swimming and snorkelling (we preferred the public beach 5 mins walk away but there is a private beach too for just a few villas). Out of Cefalù so not so busy and only a short drive to bakery, supermarket and restaurant. Not easy to walk to nearby restaurant as roads are busy with no path but can walk along the beach. The...

"Amazing spot just outside the bustle of Cefalú. Very picturesque and very kind host. Be aware the kitchen is up 2 flights of stairs ( if you are traveling with an elder, as I was). We were also told upon arrival that we only rented 2 of the 4 bedrooms in the listing, which was confusing. We only needed 2 so it was ok, but there was no discount in price. We unfortunately left a day early due to all the stairs. Other than that a very sweet spot I would highly recommend."

"During 8 weeks touring Italy as a family of 4 (2 children), this was our favourite accommodation by far. Very clean second story flat with more than enough room for us. The place has lots of character and was fully equipped with everything we needed for a lengthy stay. Lots of beach toys and furniture included. Minutes walk to the beach and great shops all within the historic centre. Great value. Great communication from the host as well. "
