"2 weeks spent in a fabulous villa with great pool in a peaceful rural location- just what we needed. Shops, restaurants, beaches all near by to visit and explore. Nino looked after us and showed us around the Villa and introduced us to some traditional local cuisine. "This property is in the middle of a huge olive tree grove. It was so peaceful. The property was very clean and had everything you could need. The host provided extras such as soap, wash clothes and olive oil (the things you wouldn’t think to pack and are pleased not to need to buy). We stayed there with our two children aged 13 and 10 and they loved it. The pool is fantastic and the seating areas outside. You can see the sea which is 10 minutes drive max and the Greek temples of Selinunte. Local...

"This property is unique….literally in the middle of no where…you drive ten minutes out of Sciacca and you leave the main road to a lesser road…to an even lesser road…down a cliff like street …you find a gate…you enter and find the delightful cottage …you are about 200 feet from the Mediterranean …private beach…not big…but pretty much all yours…not fancy but it contains everything you might need….we loved it!"

Everything you need to make a coffee, or cook, is in the kitchen, storage for clothes is ample, the shower is great, the bed is quite comfortable, the working port it overlooks is highly interesting, entertaining, a bit noisy through the day (as you'd expect), but beautifully quiet at night for sleep.
