"This is one of the best holiday apartments that we have stayed in. It is spacious, very comfortable and extremely well-equipped. The south-facing roof terrace, with its views towards the Bodetal, is a splendid area in which to sit for meals, an early-evening drink, or merely to relax and muse. Lage ist der perfekte Ausgangsort für Wanderunhen, natürlich die Brockenbahn und Ausflüge in Richtung Höhlen, Thale, Wernigerode usw. Die Lage am Bahnhof ist gerade für Kinder sehr außergewöhnlich und es ist überhaupt nicht laut, sehr schön. Die Schlafcouch ist leider sehr hart und hat Rückenschmerzen verursacht. Achtung man...

"Wir buchten sehr kurzfristig 4 Nächte in diser FeWo und waren vollkommen zufrieden. Bei herrlichstem Winterwetter konnten wir schöne Schneewanderungen unternehmen oder die zahlreichen Loipen in der Nähe (fussläufig zu erreichen) in Angriff nehmen. Der Ort selbst ist sehr ruhig, nicht zu vergleichem mit dem Trubel in Braunlage. Die FeWo lässt keine Wünsche offen."

"The hotel lighting is very limited, really uncomfortable to stay. Breakfast is not delicious for room rate that I paid. The pillow look like not really pillow for sleep. I don’t want to come back to this hotel. "

"Good hotel with amazingly clean rooms. Room was big and recently renovated, lots of space and nice touches like tea and coffee in the room. Big windows let in loads of natural light, and opening windows allowed fresh air which was nice. The location allows for easy access and parking, and then it's a very short walk to the centre of the historic town. Friendly team and good breakfast. As some other people commented, no, they don't speak English - but it turns out the hotel is in Germany, so don't expect it and you'll be fine. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and a smile, a few signs and a bit of patience got me checked in very quickly. Great value, would definitely stay again. "
